One more Adidas women's away kit to add for a non-WWC-bound country:
Latvia
QuoteA celebration of the natural world, the design on this adidas Latvia away jersey takes inspiration from the country's national bird, the white wagtail. Just above that intricate, feather-textured chest bar, a woven badge keeps your football pride soaring. In the background, moisture-wicking AEROREADY and mesh inserts ensure you stay confident whether you're playing the beautiful game or watching from the wings.

With both your attempts at this, the court feels really disjointed from the logo. It's especially evident in the fonts and the use of white on the court. For it to feel like a cohesive visual package, I think you have to incorporate the same fonts from the logo into the court, and incorporate white into the court in roughly the same proportion as it's used in the logo.
In the second logo attempt, don't be afraid to recolor elements like the trophy, the ball and the outlines to the shade of gold you're using elsewhere. Leaving those tones intact muddies things up. If it's purple and gold, make it purple and gold, and don't water it down with metallic/Vegas gold and orange.

New secondary "Ice Kit" for KC Current:
Also, here's a roundup of new kits for 2023 that I put together for the mothership. Not crazy about the number of plain, (almost) one-color kits in the league this year.

Fanatics makes MLB player jerseys and just slaps a Nike logo on them.

QuoteFor example, Nike is the official outfitter of Major League Baseball, but Fanatics has made MLB's Nike-branded uniforms for all 30 teams since 2017, when it acquired Majestic. In total, Fanatics makes close to 100,000 MLB uniforms each season. Fanatics also makes authentic NFL jerseys that carry a Nike logo, which are sold online and in stores.

QuoteNHL executive vice president of marketing Brian Jennings acknowledged that fans might only know Fanatics as a company that makes replica gear rather than game-worn jerseys, which could lead to challenges in perception about the league's new authentic jersey maker.
"It's fair. I understand there may be, initially, some trepidation, but I do have a lot of confidence in the team at Fanatics," Jennings said. "I look back at the history with our locker room, at what they're doing with other leagues, and I do think that they will be able to do this."
QuoteJennings said part of that confidence is in how Fanatics is approaching the task. It has senior executives in place with experience launching game-worn jerseys at Reebok and Adidas. Fanatics also doesn't plan on reinventing the jersey -- at least initially. They'll use the same factory based in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, that Adidas did to produce its jerseys. The specs for the jerseys will be exactly the same. While there will be differences in some of the fabrics and materials, "it will be almost indiscernible" to the jerseys currently in use, said Jennings.
The NHL indicated that the first significant changes to its on-ice jerseys could be in the 2026-27 season, when different fabric options and player safety innovations like protection against skate lacerations might be introduced.

I think you could do something more tonal for the Union Jack, like Team GB did on their apparel at the 2012 Olympics. The Union Jack is a recognizable pattern in pretty much any color. Then you could use red as the outline color and not have to bring gold into the mix. I dunno, something to play around with if you want.

I think he may have been talking about the image not embedding. For future reference, this is covered in the CCSLC FAQs:
Quote7. Adding images to your post
- If you want to add an image to your post on the CCSLC, you must first upload to a third-party image hosting site, like Imgur. Images cannot be directly uploaded to the forum as it drives up server costs. Images also cannot be directly linked from your computer’s hard drive.
- Once the image is uploaded to the hosting site, right-click on the image itself and select “Copy image address.” Do not use click on the “Copy link” button on Imgur, as that will give you a link to the gallery, not the image, and it will not embed properly on the forums.
- Paste the image address (it should end in .jpg, .gif, .png or another raster file format) into the compose or reply box on the forums and it should automatically embed the image into your post.
- This helpful YouTube video explains how to post pictures hosted on Imgur. The steps are similar on other hosting sites.
- If your image does not automatically embed when you paste the address into the reply box, click the "Insert other media" box in the lower right hand corner of the window, select "Insert image from URL," and paste the image address there.
As for the concept itself, it's a clever idea but it doesn't quite work in its current iteration. The Union Jack in the "GB" is a nice idea, but makes the "GB" harder to read. The addition of gold only muddies things further. I think it would benefit from a blue background/border instead of gold and more space in between the G and the B. If you can make the internal spaces within the G and the B bigger, that would help too, but not so big as you lose the shield shape.

FC Barcelona's men's team will wear the logo from singer Rosalía's latest album "Motomami" on their shirts in Sunday's El Clásico, while the women's team will also wear it in a match against Real Madrid on March 25.

So will only the current champ have the number patch on the jersey sleeves?
Nope, any club that has won a title gets the "legacy patch," and there's a number in it if they've won more than one. (Currently Forge have won 3 of the 4 titles the league has handed out, with Pacific FC winning the other.) The current defending champions get a gold maple leaf above or below their crest on the chest. It was linked above, but I'm posting the YouTube video that Avery Dennison produced on its own for visibility. It's really quite fascinating if you're into typography and design (which, I mean, you probably are if you're a CCSLC member):

Why not have the refs wear blue and make the RSL keeper wear green or black?
Or just have the ref wear black. It's still in the ref's rotation, and wouldn't clash as badly with Austin as the other options.

Here are the 2023 kits for Halifax Wanderers FC of the Canadian Premier League:
The club motto "Together From Aways" is embossed across the front and sleeves of the alternate kit. And the multicolor mosaic pattern — which "brings attention to the cultural mosaic of Halifax" — is also used for the names and numbers on the back.

Alright, that's enough of that. Let's keep it on topic and civil. If it's not about the Rays or A's stadium situations, don't post it.

I was surprised the extension was for that long. But I looked it up and Pastrnak is only 26. Feels like he's been around the league way longer.
Pepsi changing their logo (again)

That angled cut on the top of the I in "PEPSI" is really bugging me. Usually that's used to differentiate a 1 from an I. It reads like "PEPS1" to me and I can't shake it.
