Or at least the easternmost "travel pair" It also seems kind of funny to put Washington in the east and UCLA and USC in the west, when Seattle is actually further west than Los Angeles. True, you're right...the map I was looking at was skewed a little and not flush with the Equator. There is ZREO chance the Pac-12 will dub their divisions 'East' and 'West'. We're talking about the Pacific Coast -- which happens to run NORTH and SOUTH.

If the new 'Pac-12' stays as-is, it looks like Colorado and Utah will become instant geographical rivals, as the rest of the conference is pretty much paired off that way. That being said...
