  1. Maybe an Eastern/Western: Eastern: Colorado Utah AZ State Arizona Wash St Wash Western: Oregon Oregon St Stanford Cal USC UCLA I'm pretty sure USC and UCLA are the furthest east of the old Pac 8 Schools. Or at least the easternmost "travel pair" It also seems kind of funny to put Washington in the east and UCLA and USC in the west, when Seattle is actually further west than Los Angeles. True, you're right...the map I was looking at was skewed a little and not flush with the Equator. There is ZREO chance the Pac-12 will dub their divisions 'East' and 'West'. We're talking about the Pacific Coast -- which happens to run NORTH and SOUTH.
  2. If the new 'Pac-12' stays as-is, it looks like Colorado and Utah will become instant geographical rivals, as the rest of the conference is pretty much paired off that way. That being said... Let the "U-TAH-SUCKS" chants begin! (And couldn't we just merge this topic with the HUGE conference expansion thread? This discussion is kind of going on over there as well. Just sayin.)
  3. New Pac-12 division alignment? PAC-12 NORTH California Oregon Oregon State Stanford Washington Washington State PAC-12 SOUTH Arizona Arizona State Colorado UCLA USC Utah However, I could see Colorado/Utah being swapped for Cal/Stanford to keep the California rivalries intact.
  4. Depends on the sport. I'm really not sure if Boise State is good at anything aside from football.
  5. Pac-10 - Pac-10 & Mount-1 Big XII - Big Ten Big Ten - Bigger Ten
  6. Overlooked in this whole fiasco... With Nebraska joining forces, THE BEST conference logo out there has now been rendered obsolete.
  7. Okay. Now where does Pac-10 go from here? It seems as if they're now going to be stuck at 11 teams, and I don't think they will be at all satisfied at that number, and only having added just Colorado. There are no more elite schools to pick from, as the remainder of the Big XII has all but formed their own alliance. So does this mean they look to the Mountain West or WAC? I don't there there is ANY school from either of those two conferences who make the Pac-10 a better conference overall. Maybe adding Utah or BYU would be a bit of an upgrade, but I truly think they'd make a better fit as the two teams who complete the new Big XII.
  8. I think it would be in their best interest to make a run at the two Utah schools, Utah and BYU. Both schools put a better product on the field year-in and year-out than any other school in the Big XII region, especially in both football AND men's hoops. Plus, BYU has a HUGE following. And can anybody name the last time Boise State or TCU even made the NCAA Tourney??
  9. Boise State has defected to the Mountain West. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/news/story?id=5276064&campaign=rss&source=ESPNHeadlines
  10. Nebraska first.... Mizzou and Texas next.... Colorado even?.... To put it lightly, the Big XII is :censored:ED.

  12. Had to do a double-take on this pic. Thought the old dude was giving the camara the bird.
  13. This showed up on ESPN this morning: Worst attempt I've seen them do yet. (And they've had some bad ones.) Brutal. It almost looks as if he's in one of those black and green fashion replicas.
  14. Placard for Santonio Holmes on the Jets Maybe he'll get half as many photoshopped pics as McNabb.
  15. GMs actually trade for him? The T-Wolves and Knicks apparently do. I'm not sure who's a bigger waste of skin -- Darko or the guy he was dealt for, Brian Cardinal.
  16. Darko "I was the bitch drafted before Melo, Bosh & D-Wade" Milicic in ANY NBA uniform.
  17. Holy Cross denied the Big East? What the hell were they smoking?
