  1. HA! The Cardinals have never made a huge/splash coaching hire. At least not in my lifetime. And they won't do it here. Promoting Vance Joseph and paying him HC minimum is what exactly what Bidwill will do.
  2. Gotta love Lovie Smith, in what was likely his last game on an NFL sideline. doing his old team a solid by not laying down today.
  3. Patriots currently losing... Dolphins currently tied... Steelers currently winning...
  4. The offseason for most teams begins in 3... 2... Black Monday is looming. Here's how it's likely to shake down. HAPPY TRAILS: Kliff Kingsbury (ARI) Dennis Allen (NO) Lovie Smith (HOU) 50/50: Steve Wilks (CAR) Todd Bowles (TB) Ron Rivera (WAS) HOT SEAT BUT RETURNING: Kevin Stefanski (CLE) Josh McDaniels (LV) Robert Saleh (NYJ) MIAMI WILD IF THEY DO: Mike McDaniel (MIA) RESIGNING. NEXT STOP TV: Sean McVay (LAR) INTERIMS, BACK INTO RETIREMENT: Jeff Saturday (IND) Jerry Rosburg (DEN)
  5. I hope to never see Dobbs on tv again -- only because announcers mention his education and all that NASA bs every other snap.
  6. I've seen this sort of thing a few times in the past
  7. If not for accessories (gloves, cleats) and the friggin Nike Swoosh, the Titans use virally no red.
  8. "America's Game of the Week" is really just FOX giving us a Dallas Cowboys game. So many times has there been really solid late-window match up, but they'll still make Cowboys vs Whoever the headliner. Hell, Dallas vs Bishop-Sycamore would get AGOTW consideration.
  9. Biggest game of the year. Navy > White > Silver > Lt blue > Red GIVE THE COLORS BACK TO HOUSTON
  10. This comment opened my eyes. Valid point. Coach Taylor the Cincinnati Bengals franchise were beyond awesome with allowing Buffalo to dictate whether they wanted to go back onto the field that night or not. They didn't force Buffalo to continue the game. Despite if being a home game. Despite leading the game. Despite the huge AFC seeding on the line. On the other hand, the Bills very well could've conceded the contest to since 1) they were losing when the game was stopped and 2) Cincinnati (the franchise, fans and city) were great in how everything was handled that night. Tack on Buffalo having a player almost lose his life on the field and the "it's only a game" narrative, seems borderline selfish Buffalo wouldn't to ask the league to hand Cincy the W. So by not forfeiting the game, while witnessing a one of their own nearly lose his life, Buffalo kinda made it clear the easiest path to the Super Bowl also pretty damn important.
  11. The NFL really could've called the game (like MLB calls rain-outs) giving Cincy the 7-3 win, keeping all teams at 17 games played, and people would've cried less about that than they're crying now about all the neutral site/win percentage/fairness stuff the league eventually landed on.
  12. Thirty years ago, this is exactly what the league would've ruled.
  13. Bills-Bengals officially scratched, will not be made up. Neutral site AFCCG on the table:
  14. Do we know if the Bills are even going to take the field this weekend? Also seeing fans clamor for an 8th playoff team in the AFC because the BUF-CIN game was scratched. Huh? Why? What does that solve?
  15. To make things easier to understand.. Critical = Not out of the woods Critical but stable = Damn good chance of survival
  16. I had no idea, but the same thing happened to Chris Pronger. Survived and came back to have a great career. Hope the same applies to Hamlin.
  17. Baseball does it if there's a rain-out at the end of the season. Why can't football? I will say I was realllyyyy looking forward Bills-Bengals tonight. But there are bigger things than football at this moment.
  18. Approaching 1 hour on this delay. At this point, pretty sure this one gets postponed regardless. Which I agree with. Players can't go back out there after this kinda trauma.
