  1. Good find. Teal gear looks pretty good there. I got a head start making these for NHL04 rebuilt and overall not bad. Just did a color and striping layout test. Starting my acceptance journey early
  2. Had the same thought. But overall I’d say they’re an improvement. Still don’t see black numbers working with the road if that leaked concept image is accurate.
  3. I like it. I was worried when I heard there’d be a pattern or something inside the stripe that they’d do something dumb, but the wave pattern is pretty cool. love the return of the fin. The new treatment for it looks great. also notice there’s no orange in the main logo aside from the stick. The eye and line in triangle are white or silver
  4. Just saw this mock-up on Twitter. Not perfect, but works in showing how it might look and really makes it look pretty nice
  5. Yes the Sharks, sorry. But no, they are definitely black, just like the Barracuda's set here:
  6. as of now i'm having trouble seeing the black numbers work on the road. I'll wait to see the final product but imagining it, they just seem to stand out too much.
  7. I’m very interested in seeing what the sharks do. They’ve needed this for a while. I’m not totally sold on an all teal look but it would certainly make them stand out. I too actually lean more to the Edge 1.0 look. I made this concept a while that I feel is a good blend of the best of the Sharks different identities and really want these to be real. modern shark, fin to match it, update on classic striping and paired with edge 1.0 road with silver. Oh well.
  8. I think i'd angle the hem stripes on the home and road to give them that Ducks feel. But, the retro striping is a nice merger too. I do miss the yellow sticks in the logo.
  9. I like the Winterhawks jerseys a lot, but I recognize the oddity of it with Seattle. The extra detail on the back numbers is pretty cool and doesn’t look tacky. I really thought they were navy in the video but black and the other colors look great together.
  10. Yeah sure. I don’t mind suggestions and if it sparks me I’ll do it.
  11. Haha. I was actually just thinking about that. Nothing at the moment though
  12. Honestly. This was my main reason
  13. Here's another option. With this one I like the home but feel like the gray lessens the road look. Kind of wanted to keep gray off the main uniforms as well, but it does help separate the green and blue on the home.
  14. Thanks, probably right in overthinking. So should it be green jersey #1, #2 or other?
  15. After looking at it for a while I'm not as sold on the home as I thought I was. The Road and Alt stand out more to me. I tried this out, which is obviously more of a traditional look, so I'm not sure if I really want to go this route as i feel it loses some of the modern update feel to it.
  16. Well I would think a team named for an industry that’s kinda frowned upon would draw some heat
  17. With the Hurricanes news of dropping the red jersey, and the lingering nostalgic feelings from my North Stars concept, I wanted to make an updated Whalers concept. Figuring “whalers” wouldn’t really fly anymore I’d go with the Hartford Whale I suppose. No changes to logo other then colors. The uniforms are meant to simplify and update from the past.
  18. Edited the roundel shoulder logo with the Minnesota state/star combo. Does this fit the main set better to allow the M-star to function on its own as an alternate? @OnWis97
  19. Thanks. Fair points and that was something I considered with the M-star, but it fit better than trying to force the 5point star and both shapes came up in graphic research for “North Star”. I figured as a secondary mark it might pass by. I suppose an alternative could be to place the state/star in the roundel. I thought after of including the MPLS + St Paul from the winter classic logo as well, just within the state shape
  20. Alternate uniform coming at ya. Shoulder logo: also a gold version. I guess this makes more sense for an alternate, but the white version just looks so clean.
  21. Here's a uniform test. Not exactly what i'd call my ideal set, but it was one idea i had and wanted to see.
  22. Expanding the logo set, or at least attempting to. I've seen other concepts for Wild logos that are similar. I did keep the star straight, but edited the accent/bevel on it a little. Roundel would be the shoulder logo, while the stand-alone M-Star would be for an alternate uniform.
  23. Thanks. I think I just wasn’t happy with the curved star as is, so I’ll revisit.
