  1. OK OK OK. I swear this is the last one. I noticed a small thing and then figured out what i wanted to add to the star instead of full bevel. I'm calling this the final version!
  2. Alright, sorry for being post-happy, but i'm continuing to tweak and think i'm getting it nearly there. These versions are with the star straightened out a little, before it had some curve to it. The last one also uses the gold color from the Wild's palette (green as well with these and previous post)
  3. Same as above, beveled star bevel i'm picturing more as just the way it'd be stitched), that or we go shiny/sparkly
  4. Still playing with this, but think i like it a little simpler without the extra strokes. Here's one with more of a drop shadow effect like the original. Is this a step in the right direction? I like keeping the star gold, and still want to keep it connected to the N, so does this work?
  5. Once again, @StevenGrant94 inspired me with his work. His latest look at "If the North Stars Never Left" got the wheels spinning, and I wanted to take a crack at an updated logo for them. What I came up with is a combo of elements from 3 teams: basic concept of the original North Stars logo, the shooting star from the Wild's logo, and the beveled letter from Dallas's current logo. I wanted it to be a little more cohesive compared to the old mark. I feel like the bevelling might need some work, and I have a lot of color combos i tried but this seemed the best to me. I'll post those as well but i'd love to hear suggestions.
  6. Nailed it once again. And I love the final set.
  7. Thanks. I like it as well, but think the red set fits the call-back elements of the uniform much better.
  8. Love where they ended up, though I feel like they’d have a pointier custom font instead of a straight block font.
  9. I also tried out the aviator blue:
  10. @StevenGrant94 recently posted his concept for “What If… The Jets never left” and I think he hit it out of the park (rink) with his final era for them. It sent me down a rabbit hole though and with his permission I wanted to try out his uniform but with modern Jets logos, to either serve as a rebrand for them or if in his what if world the Jets ended up getting to these logos themselves. I didn’t change StevenGrant94’s jerseys, and applied the same principles with my changes. Single color numbers/letters for that vintage feel but paired with a modern font. The script logos also follow suit with the single color appearance. I tried a couple treatments/options for the main logo but saw this in a google search from someone on Reddit. I like pairing the leaf with the wordmark to give it a little pop, and sense the wordmark has a jet in it, it just seems to work. However, I’m getting major Labatt vibes from it which I can’t unsee. I also originally tried the current shoulder logo with the wings but wanted to have an actual jet somewhere. Plus keeping the RCAF nod. I am curious to here ideas or preferences for these. Also, one of the main reasons for this was I wanted to create it for NHL04 Rebuilt, and here’s a preview of that (albeit with a different version of the number 4 before I edited it to what you see above):
  11. I LOVE the new set you made for them for the last redesign/Adidas era. I actually think it’d look better with the updated wordmark logo the real Jets have now and what was on the aviator blue alt. Hell, it could have worked to use that and their current logo for a shoulder logo. But that’s just my brain connecting dots, overall love this set.
  12. Love OTT, though I’d still put the arm stripes up behind the numbers. Love the retro.
  13. Yeah I don’t think the canon works by itself. I always wanted to see them do something like this concept.
  14. I’d love to see it tried. I gave it a shot a while ago in EA NHL and at first was kinda meh, but looking at it again today it’s looking better.
  15. Long term, I wonder what Columbus will do with their uniforms. I’ve seen quotes or paraphrasing that Davidson doesn’t want them to look like the Rangers, ergo the blue pants. I wonder if they’ll go blue with the home uniforms as well, or re-design entirely in the next few years. the Tri-City Americans basically have CBJ unis with blue pants home and road.
  16. True. It does seem like that’s the full time road thing, but perhaps still a little vague.
  17. I'm REALLY curious if it is all road games or just some. But it does look great.
  18. The retro looks great. Nice change of approach compared to similar concepts.
  19. looks good, but i do like the first home/away if you had red pants and gloves. Either way though!
  20. My biggest feedback for the Coyotes is the home and road need red pants and gloves. That would make those work so much better, and maybe there’s a way to have a touch of black there? But the simplicity gives it a feel of some of the first Adizero uniforms we saw with the World Cup and it’s cool. I wonder if two different sublimated elements is too much though. Especially when they’re so different and right next to each other. I like the Arizona shoulder patch better than the paw print, so maybe if you did that instead of the sun beams on the sleeves? Though it does look amazing as the hanger effect. Alternatively, if you wanted to keep the black more prominent you could swap the home and alternate, and have the kachina pattern stripe on the road match the new home (black with the full color pattern). Then red equipment for the new alternate to set it apart from the other two. Maybe not my ideal choice but it would work.
  21. This is a great idea in general. Missed opportunity for NJ.
  22. glad to see you back! I like the alternate, though it's kind of jarring for some reason for MTL. Must be the the inverted colors (blue jersey, red pands). The retro looks fantastic though.
  23. I think if the Oilers took a different approach with the "McDavid Era" of navy it would have worked out differently. Believe someone else posted this recently as well. Not even going with what the Condors used, since it's really just changing the blue to navy, but there were a few ways they could have done it that would have been a smoother transition, close enough to the old but still new. Something like this would have been an ideal route for this approach: You could have white or orange numbers for the homes, slightly updated gloves with just the orange cuff or solid navy, but overall I feel it's a good blend/update of their past looks. Although maybe i'd go back to the curved pants stripes as well, since those were unique to them.
  24. Here's another idea i've had (and trying out new template built from @OhioSportsMan61's templates), doing something like the Everett Silvertips for the Avalanche. I used the mountains from the new Colorado Rockies City Connect uniforms. Just can't pinpoint the best combination for equipment (blue/burgundy).
