  1. As BraveBird said, this is probably all bogus, but that Seattle mockup looks amazing. Not perfect, but a huge improvement over their current set.
  2. This is exactly what the Broncos should be doing. Blending the old with a slightly updated aesthetic. If Seattle pulls this off kudos to them.
  3. The undershirt not being tucked in, no sock matching, and the pants down to mid thigh are my biggest pet peeves at the moment. It's just an awful look all the way around.
  4. While we're at it, can we make sure undershirts don't hang out and down past the players butts?
  5. This shouldn't be hard. This logo, With these uniforms. Call it a day. Done.
  6. OK, thinking about this Broncos thing. I have an alternate theory that I am not sure I believe. What if what is being reported is true but opposite? In other words, what if the throwback to the 80's is not the alternate as is being reported but rather the full time. And the reported fulltime change is actually the alternate? I could live with that. Just add in orange and blue pants options with the 80;s uni.
  7. The only thing Denver got right with the 90's upgrade is switching back to primary orange in 2012. Leave blue as the alternate. And make it royal, navy absolutely sucks for Denver.
  8. As a Broncos fan, if this is what Denver goes with color me disappointed but not surprised. I had the feeling with the whole alternate white helmet this year they were gauging how fans felt about it. And unfortunately there was enough people on social media with "these are fire!" type comments that I kinda figured it was coming. Things this update is getting wrong if it is indeed true. Sticking with navy blue, should go to a nice royal a little darker than the old. Think those gorgeous blue sky's you see in Colorado most of the year. 5280 in lieu of a pants stripe. Wasn't anything learned from the Browns debacle? White helmet Wouldn't mind a subtle mountain theme, maybe sublimated in the stripes, but that mockup is just gaudy. Not updating the D logo, it doesn't need to be a primary, but update it and use it prominently as a secondary. If going with the white helmet, sticking with the current logo is terrible as others have stated. The whole snowcapped thing is just a bit lame if you ask me.
  9. Great start to the series, the original concepts on this forum seem to be few and far between anymore so it's nice to see something creative like this on here. And well done on the presentation to boot. Chicago: Primary logo is awesome. I feel like the numbers will get lost on the blue jerseys. The jerseys also need something a little more, lack of TV numbers may be what's standing out here to me. Not a fan of either of the secondary logos. I'm not seeing harmonica at all. London Guardians: Think I'd prefer Guards here as that's basically why you named it that. The uniforms are nice, no real complaints other than, what am I looking at under the collar? I really am not sure what that is. The main logo is very nice as well as the secondary hat logo. I think the guard logo needs some work, almost seems too plain and smooth. I think the face needs some work to be a bit more realistic. Love the interpretation on the helmet. London Lancers: I feel like you're missing the Monarchs opportunity here. I know it was done in the WFL and then NFL Europe. But I think it's just so uniquely British that you almost have to do it. On the concept itself. I really like the primary logo, but the wordmark and L secondary logo are misses for me. The wordmark is a bit busy and the lance is distracting to me. The Lance secondary logos seems like two ideas slapped together in a not so good way. Also not sure about the helmet, I like what you're trying to do, but is doesn't really read as a Lance to me. Again on the jersey's, I'm afraid the color of the numbers will get lost on the field. On the two London concept I feel the numbers are a bit too wide and squatty. On the whole I really like what you've done here. The one thing I noticed in looking at all three is you seem to be kind of stuck in a formula. Dark pants, light top for homes. I don't dislike that at all, just hope we see a bit more variation as you move forward.
  10. I think the Broncos helmet is pretty sharp on it's own and I don't mind it for a one off or alternate. My fear is they are gauging how fans feel about a white lid, and if my facebook feeds are accurate everybody thinks it's "sick". UGH. Massive fail if the Broncos go to a white lid.
  11. Just my $.02 on the Broncos changes. I'm a lifelong Broncos fan and loved the changes in the 90's. But the look is quite stale. I love the old D logo, and have seen enough concepts to know that it can be modernized to match the current logo. With that said, the current logo is a much better helmet logo. What I'd love to see is a modernized D logo as a rather prominent secondary. Like maybe on the hip of the pant. Also, the Navy absolutely blows. May as well be black. Would love to see them go back to a royal blue, but not as washed out as the last one. A little closer to the Rams or Boise St. I think it's pretty simple for them to knock this out of the park: 1. Royal blue 2. modernized D logo as prominent secondary and retain current logo as primary 3. Traditional template for striping, go back to what they had or similar 4. White, royal, orange for pants options. That way they have plenty of options for change ups during the year. 5. Orange IS the primary jersey, own it Denver! This would be absolutely perfect.
  12. Personally love the script logo, I agree with TenaciousG though, probably more from a nostalgia standpoint. It is very 90's, and I'm ok with that.
  13. Well, I disagree. That doesn't even look close to navy to me. Now, then end zone isn't even painted per this video at the 1:43 mark. Someone screwed up somewhere.
  14. I highly doubt it. That definitely looks like royal blue. A color Denver needs to go back to.
  15. noticed that too. Wonder if it's just an oversight or if it could be a hint that the Broncos are lightening their blue next year. The last part is really just wishful thinking on my part.
  16. Well that's a bummer. Orange would have looked so much better, not that this is bad, just a tad dull.
  17. I would hope they give Denver an orange end zone, after all, they are a predominantly orange team.
