The Big12 is meeting later this month. The Commissioner said the Big12 may become more proactive. They are looking at adding 6 more teams. It is coming, people. Don't think for a second it isn't. It has been coming for years. The payoff is almost here.
Maybe Florida State, Clemson, Louisville, Georgia Tech, Boise, BYU? All of those schools have been rumored to be on the Big 12's "list" for years now, so it seems reasonable.

Since when is this unpopular? I mean with the exception of the top one, your opinions all seem to be in line with the popular view (for once!).
I've never really seen the Mighty Ducks' BFBS alternate as a particularly unpopular uniform on here, and of course, most people prefer the original sloped-stripe set to the '90s alternates.

Horrible uniform:
One of the worst hockey uniforms ever:
(The Edge template panel cutting into the hem stripe brings this into full clownsuit territory.)

I love these.
I really like how the side stripes look like Vikings' horns. To me they're just as good or better than the three-stripe version.
I do too, just without the toilet-seat collars, and without the monochrome combos.
Best uniforms in Vikings history.

Right team, wrong cap and uniform.

One of the reasons the Catholic 7 are leaving is because of football running the conference. Don't think any of them would run right back into the same situation.
It's much different when the football schools in your conference are Syracuse, Notre Dame, Miami, etc. The Catholic basketball schools didnt have a problem with football in the Big East until they started adding UCF, Boise State and Tulane.
Uh, Boise is hardly on the same level as UCF or Tulane. They would have been the only strong football school in the conference, really.

Nah, this is weirder:
Really? I remember Peja as a Pacer.
He was only there for a year and it was right after his time with the Kings, so it's weird to me anyway.

In regards to the Pac 12
Brett McMurphy @McMurphyESPNPac 12's Larry Scott: "At this stage, I see no reason to go beyond 12 teams." If they did he said Pac-12 would look at Boise, SDSU
So I guess take any of the academic concerns the Pac 12 would have in getting to 14/16 and shoot them out of a cannon into the Pacific Ocean.
Considering the PAC-12 already has Cal, Stanford, UCLA, and USC, I think they're pretty stacked academics-wise. If they're really that concerned, then they should invite BYU instead of SDSU.

The Big Least is officially dead. I'd say Boise State should cut their losses, but where would they go? Back to the Mountain West and their crap TV deal, crap teams, and crap bowl tie-ins? Realignment sucks.
-
I don't think the Big 12 will be collapsing... the ACC will be the next to go after the Big East, though. Clemson, FSU, and GT have been wanting out for a while now. I can't imagine the Research Triangle schools wanting to stick around in the ACC if those three schools end up leaving.
-
So when does Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma & Oklahoma State bolt for the Pac-12? People will deny it but it will happen eventually. The Big 12 wants to be stable and together my ass.
Why would they have any reason to leave? Especially Texas, since the Big 12 caters to their every whim.
-
Looks like the Big 12 might be getting ready to kill off the Big East once and for all.
Wait there is more. Louisville might consider a move to the Big 12 if a call from Dallas is made. And don’t be surprised if Boise State also gets a call. Both schools were on the short list during the Big 12′s recent configuration process in which Texas A&M and Missouri went to the SEC and TCU and West Virginia joined the Big 12.-

It's not the team that looks weird for them, it's the particular uniform set.
-
It's an upgrade from their previous mess, but still not a good look. With a name like "Astros," Houston has full license to go futuristic and modern. Settling for boring plain block and boring navy just like damn near every other MLB team is really disappointing and lazy.
-
Am I the only one who finds NNOB to be cheap-looking and bad? It reminds me of low-budget high school teams that have to reuse uniforms.
-
I miss the Bills red helmet. To me, it was unique and it was their trademark. It needs to be brought back!
This. With the advent of the blue pants, this would be a bomb look...

Are the thread titles on each page appearing in really large font for anyone else?

The best Oregon uniforms are either the Kellen Clemens set or this year's "Fighting Ducks" combo. That throwback is bland and lifeless with the yellow pants, and ugly with the white pants.
-
The UHL and IHL had some of the best hockey sweaters ever.

Either one of these would be a fantastic alternate cap for the A's:
-
A 59Fifty version of this without the needless piping and panels would be a great alternate cap for the Mets:
I've actually changed my mind on black for the Mets. I kind of miss it, except for on the home whites and road greys where it looked horrible.
