  1. After the Divisional Round: Mathematically, @rams80 has clinched a tie for the championship. Three game lead with three games to go, and I've never really had any interest in doing Super Bowl tiebreakers or anything like that. That being said, @RyanMcD29 and @oldschoolvikings (and myself) are still mathematically alive to at least clinch a tie for the championship if we get our picks right. Should I just assume right now you guys are going to pick the opposite of @rams80 as well? , there's nothing left to lose at this point. Conference Championships: San Francisco vs. Philadelphia Cincinnati vs. Kansas City
  2. Jacksonville vs. Kansas City New York vs. Philadelphia Cincinnati vs. Buffalo Dallas vs. San Francisco
  3. This got me wondering if there's ever been a Niners-Cowboys game with the Niners in white and Cowboys in blue. Sure enough... https://www.mercurynews.com/2021/01/03/49ers-wear-regular-white-uniforms-in-home-game-for-first-time-since-1979/ Highlight
  4. This Bucs team is old and bad and terribly coached. We might not need to worry about their home uniform choice in the playoffs anytime soon.
  5. Through the Wild Card round: And onto the Divisional round: Jacksonville vs. Kansas City New York vs. Philadelphia Cincinnati vs. Buffalo Dallas vs. San Francisco
  6. If the Bucs win tomorrow night, I'm going to spend the next week holding my head on the idea that it was against the Bucs where The Legend of Brock Purdy was born, and that it would only be appropriate for the Bucs to be the ones to bring that story to a close.
  7. It's bloody amazing how the Chargers can never actually shock you with stuff like this.
  8. Seattle vs. San Francisco Los Angeles vs. Jacksonville Miami vs. Buffalo New York vs. Minnesota Baltimore vs. Cincinnati Dallas vs. Tampa Bay Since 2015, it looks like the only other time that happened was Week 3, 2019. Every other yellow box week was shared with others.
  9. I was willing to let it slide on the basis of "superstition" last year, but they lost at home, in white, during the postseason. Wearing white, at home, AT NIGHT, in the playoffs after all of that is just garbage. As a fan, I'm definitely not a fan.
  10. Week 18 results: Week 18 winner: @waltere with 12 wins. Wild Card round: Seattle vs. San Francisco Los Angeles vs. Jacksonville Miami vs. Buffalo New York vs. Minnesota Baltimore vs. Cincinnati Dallas vs. Tampa Bay

  12. Tee Higgins has worked with in the past with the Greenville, SC Boys & Girls Club of America. If anybody has the wish and/or the ability to make a donation, especially in increments of $5, $8.50, or (lol) $85 (#5 was his jersey number at Clemson; you guys can figure out the other two) do feel free to do so. Damar Hamlin's charitable cause has gotten a very large amount of attention, not for the greatest of reasons but it's an incredible outpouring of support that we all hope he will soon have the opportunity to appreciate, and it would almost surely be of great appreciation for Tee Higgins as well, with the ill-deserved guilt he's probably feeling, for a cause that's means something to him to receive something good from this as well. Here's a link to donate. Thanks!
  13. I guess I might as well update this. No weekly winner confirmed for Week 17 with Bills/Bengals in limbo. I've noted everybody's pick for tonight's game, but if anybody wishes to change their pick now given the circumstances, I'll allow it, just bring it to my attention. UPDATE: With Bills-Bengals officially cancelled, Week 17's results are final. @Jamesizzo and myself finish the best of Week 17 with 13-2 records. Week 18 schedule: Kansas City vs. Las Vegas Tennessee vs. Jacksonville Cleveland vs. Pittsburgh Minnesota vs. Chicago NY Jets vs. Miami Tampa Bay vs. Atlanta Carolina vs. New Orleans Houston vs. Indianapolis Arizona vs. San Francisco Dallas vs. Washington LA Rams vs. Seattle NY Giants vs. Philadelphia LA Chargers vs. Denver Detroit vs. Green Bay Baltimore vs. Cincinnati New England vs. Buffalo The last two separated because I'm assuming the current status of those games is pending an eventual rescheduling of tonight's game.

  15. One of these days, Georgia's going to have to beat an Alabama or an Ohio State in a game where they don't end up losing their best receiver (or two) to injury during the course of the game, but today - still - wasn't that day.
  16. Week 16 results: Week 16 winner: @DoctorWhom with 13 wins Week 17 schedule: Dallas vs. Tennessee Arizona vs. Atlanta Miami vs. New England New Orleans vs. Philadelphia Indianapolis vs. NY Giants Carolina vs. Tampa Bay Denver vs. Kansas City Chicago vs. Detroit Cleveland vs. Washington Jacksonville vs. Houston San Francisco vs. Las Vegas NY Jets vs. Seattle Minnesota vs. Green Bay LA Rams vs. LA Chargers Pittsburgh vs. Baltimore Buffalo vs. Cincinnati

  18. Week 15 results: Week 15 winner: @tigerslionspistonshabs with 14 wins, and pulling into a tie for 1st place as well. Week 16: Jacksonville vs NY Jets Buffalo vs Chicago New Orleans vs Cleveland Houston vs Tennessee Seattle vs Kansas City NY Giants vs Minnesota Cincinnati vs New England Detroit vs Carolina Atlanta vs Baltimore Washington vs San Francisco Philadelphia vs Dallas Las Vegas vs Pittsburgh Green Bay vs Miami Denver vs LA Rams Tampa Bay vs Arizona LA Chargers vs Indianapolis

  20. Admittedly, Kugler and Sanchez actually are a regular team that does games every week. The first two crews from today are ones that only call a game or two per season.
  21. Week 14 results: Week 14 winners: @rams80, @Red Comet, @tigerslionspistonshabs, @dont care, and @JayMac all with 9-4 records. (And probably the sinking of my battleship...going 0-4 on the "coin flip" games can have that effect.) Week 15 schedule: San Francisco vs. Seattle Indianapolis vs. Minnesota Baltimore vs. Cleveland Miami vs. Buffalo Philadelphia vs. Chicago Detroit vs. NY Jets Pittsburgh vs. Carolina Kansas City vs. Houston Atlanta vs. New Orleans Dallas vs. Jacksonville Arizona vs. Denver New England vs. Las Vegas Tennessee vs. LA Chargers Cincinnati vs. Tampa Bay NY Giants vs. Washington LA Rams vs. Green Bay

  23. We've just had back-to-back NFL games where the road team led 16-3, under five minutes left, and both games saw the home team score two touchdowns, the winning touchdown with less than 10 sec. left, in both games, to win 17-16. What are the chances...?
  24. Week 13 results: Week 13 winner: @DG_ThenNowForever with 12 wins Week 14 schedule: Las Vegas vs. LA Rams Minnesota vs. Detroit Baltimore vs. Pittsburgh Cleveland vs. Cincinnati NY Jets vs. Buffalo Houston vs. Dallas Philadelphia vs. NY Giants Jacksonville vs. Tennessee Kansas City vs. Denver Carolina vs. Seattle Tampa Bay vs. San Francisco Miami vs. LA Chargers New England vs. Arizona
  25. I was about to respond to you with a reminder that there can be late afternoon flexing as well - the only 4:25 game that week is MIN/GB, so meh unless the Packers win the next three weeks and are in the race - but that's an impressively bad next-to-last week schedule, yikes. Your guess as far as a SNF flex goes is pretty good - Jets/Seahawks would also be a decent candidate - since it tends to be "best game for the network without the doubleheader that week" , but Fox looks pretty screwed and is probably just stuck with their 4:25 game that week.
