I think it's time for LA or Texas, imo.
-
Let's bring back the Arizona Wranglers for me, too!
-
No black in the sleeve stripes, slightly different numbers. Overall super minor changes. But it's your thread, so whatever.
-
Good second idea on Birmingham. I like the Gamblers original 1980s gray, but this works.
-
I'm still seeing no reason for this thread other than your fantasy alt history. None of the unis you've shown so far has been different.

That wasn't my favorite of the last 2.

Because it looks like softball
I hope you hate the MLB City Connect unis then, because THOSE look like beer league softball.

That looks awful. Pants should never be darker than the jersey for baseball
Um, why?
Seems like another personal preference masquerading as a "rule."

This website or the Alt History site?
I am not seeing an issue with the Alt History "USFL Lives" Site, but let me know if you are.
Meanwhile, I am gearing up for the 2006-2007 offseason and then the 25th season of USFL football in 2007. To commemorate that anniversary, the USFL will have each team wearing a patch. the 12 founding franchises will have a patch with their original 1983 logo in the center, while all other teams will have one with the league's "U" logo at the center. Here are examples of the two.
I'd love to see all of the original 12.

Well I could argue with you @Cujo but I don't wanna. Let's get back to the logos!
-
Well we've already had Katrina make an impact, it would be weird to ignore COVID.

I actually really like The Rock. I just think the league was better run better under Vince (1.0 and especially 2.0)
Well 3.0 is likely to get a second season, and if it does, it beats out what Vince did.

Cujo my friend! Your Johnson hatred is showing again!

Would be funny, though, to mirror the CFL/USA thing and crash and burn with teams in Kamloops and Thunder Bay or something!

Oakland because of stadium issues.
Also, the eastern winner of the current expansion push, also because of stadium issues. If Charlotte wins, I bet the Panthers don't make it easy for them. If Carolina wins, none of their 3 possible stadiums is very good. If Virginia wins, that's the worst stadium situation of all!
-
Look, we know you hate Johnson, you've made that clear. Let it go.

Not a fan of the new Invaders look, but the others work for me.

PS: Just letting folks know that over the past few days the Virginia Destroyers have made a push, and are now 2nd behind Charlotte, with Carolina in 3rd. You Surge fans may want to get some allies on board to vote for the Surge.
I have no allies!

LA Express... Short-lived league... Las Vegas Locomotives... Hmmmm
-
I like v2, and that's a nice idea pulling in that logo.
-
I like it, but just for the cleverness of using the triangle S, I like the Surge so far.
Let's see what Charlotte has to offer.

OK guys, a Chris Creamer exclusive. The three bids for the final 2008 expansion team should go live on Thursday, when the Week 7 Midseason Report is published, but I will release each bid here first, complete with team colors, nickname, logo, and helmet design.
Three very different designs and motifs for 3 very different bidding groups. Today I will release the NC Triangle bid (including a special peak at their secondary logo which appears nowhere else unless this team becomes the winner. Tomorrow I will release the Charlotte bid, and then Tuesday the Tidewater/Hampton Roads bid.
Voting will begin on Thursday, along with a comment section on the webpage where you can try to persuade your "fellow owners" at the owners' meeting to vote for the best bid.
So, here is your sneak peak at the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill bid.... The Carolina Surge.
And a special extra peak, the secondary logo, which those of you old enough to remember the early days of the Arena Football League may recognize as a modified version of one of the classic Arenaball clubs.
What a great idea to use that Sacramento Surge logo, and to pull in the... Detroit Drive!

I say take v2, shorten the flag length, keep one of the stars to represent 2004, and Put ‘Ohio Glory’ where the other stars are
Nah, logos with words are no good. 97% of the time.
