  1. Yes, please! The chance the Devils get moved is literally in the negative. The Devils and Coyotes are two entirely difference situations. One team has no money at all, the other just spent a little too much.
  2. I don't get it, what's the point in trying to scare the Quebec City people? Is the NHL trying to get them to pay more or something? I'm sincerely confused...
  3. I really like the Leafs' honored number banners, but I just wish the number was in a different color. They are a bit hard to read, and I'd imagine they'd be ever harder to read from a far.
  4. IIRC, the Panthers are not in any trouble, and they actually have been doing pretty well financially, recently. The attendance numbers are pretty high too. I think the Panthers are fine, its not a bad market, the previous problems stem from the decade of losing, and tens years of being in the cellar will hurt any team (well, maybe not the Leafs or Habs). If they can ice a competetive team, the fans will come.
  5. Umm...let's see here...they both have numbers somewhere on the jersey. Professional athletes play in them. And...uh...they're both made out of fabric. Oh, and don't forget that neither team used Green, Yellow, or pink on the uniform..... Lot of similarities, eh?
  6. Lol, the only thing Kwame would look good in, would be a McDonalds uniform.
  7. At least he spent more than half a season with the Rangers, unlike with the Blues: Eh, Gretz jumped the shark after leaving L.A. He played his worst, more forgettable hockey in New York. He still played 3 years with them and was top 5 in scoring for two of them. He wasn't crap. He was only a member of the Blues for a few months.
  8. You don't, but that doesn't mean a classic set can't be ugly or boring. Ex: The Montreal Canadiens logo is a classic logo, but it's boring.
  9. It would be better if it had a better crest logo... I freakin' hate the running coyote logo. It would still be bad, but not as bad. And on the Home jersey, in my opinion, it needs a shoulder yoke and a logo on each shoulder.
  10. Anaheim Ducks: Back in the early 2000's, I was rather young and didn't really follow sports yet, but I was aware of what was happening in the sports world. I was always a big fan of the jerseys and logo, and I happened to find them on tv from time to time.... In may of 2006, it was the playoffs and I was at a gas station going through the radio channels and I happened to find the Ducks game. I listened in and found it quite interesting. I then followed them a bit until they were eliminated. The next year, i bought NHL 07 and I started to learn the names of the players and I was actually a fan of the new uniforms. When the season came around, I watched every game I could. I finally convinced my Dad to take me to a game and I have been hooked ever since. I was never a total diehard untill the 09 playoffs, though. There isn't a day that goes by without me thinking about them. LA Angels of Anaheim: I played little league when I was young, and they were the local team. I really started watching them religiously around 04, and I have been hooked ever since. SD Chargers: went to my first game in 06, loved it. I loved LT and my fandom kept growing. I cried like a baby after the loss to the Pats in the playoffs that year. USC football: My Dad loves USC, and he got me into it. Arizona Cardinals: Loved Matt Leinart, and when be got drafted there, I became a fan. Even though he sucked, and eventually left, I remained a fan. Houston Texans: I had family in Houston, so I rooted for the Houston teams too. I love the uniforms, I'm a big Brian Cushing fan, so I'm still a fan even though I don't have any ties to them anymore. I wrote this on my phone, so sorry for any typos. I could have gone more in depth, but its hard to on a touchscreen.
  11. Thanks a lot! I checked youtube, and there's wasn't anything up yet, I guess I was too early. I'll be sure to watch it once the Ducks game ends. Thanks, again!

  12. So SDSU might play football in the Big East and other sports in the Big West? Wow.... But I would love to have San Diego State in the Big West.
  13. I agree, very well done. Those are ugly..... and they should make the Championship banners different from the final four and runner up banners.... a Championship is really special, and it's way better than being the runner up, give it a special banner.
  14. ....says the guy with the red, Red Sox hat in his signature.
  15. Can't speak for jerseys but I know that counterfeit Jordans and the like get a bum rap among the general public, so it wouldn't be a stretch to suggest that many non-logo nerds would frown on fake jerseys. You'd find a mixed bag of people...many people did not understand why music file sharing was wrong...the music was free and that's all that mattered to them. However, I think you're right that some non-logo nerds that "get it" would be on "our side". Aside from the fact that CCLSC has some designers (who obviously take intellectual property issues to heart), the biggest difference between "us" and the general public is that most "regular" people don't notice incorrect number fonts, huge wordmarks, and even last names on Yankee Jerseys. Therefore, they don't notice that the majority of the jerseys they see at the game are counterfeit. If they did, some would care and some would not. And if you don't like that we notice that stuff, then I wonder why you are even here... why here ? I'm bored and find this humorous of course. I have a Nitschke knock off and am not worried about it being real-so called - or not. I consider it the same as getting a t shirt or sweatshirt of favorite team except with more of a jersey flavor. Numbers and stripes instead of just a big logo Your bored and you find this humorous? Your basically admitting to trolling.
  16. This brings up an issue regarding NBA (and NHL, I think) divisions that I think about every once in a while... Why do they even exist? Is it just to create a feeling of regional rivalries? It seems kind of pointless when it is a team's position in the conference, not division, that really matters. The reason for divisions is because they get the teams to play the closer by teams more often than the teams further away, which reduces travel time and costs. They also want to promote rivalries. (which has been already stated)
