I disagree. They surely pissed a lot of people off who were expecting a real announcement, and while they surely got a lot of people's attention this time, they may not be so successful next time the try this.

If they change their name no one is ever going to use the Athletics name/identity again, other than a weird Tennessee Oilers situation maybe.

They have nothing to do with Cardinals but the design isn't that different from what the Suns did the 90s

I like how Utah Jazz sounds honestly.

I mean they were going in the right direction with the 90s rebrand. A modern "outer space" design. But then they ruined it with their "old west" rebrand when they moved to Enron Field.

I have to agree with the guy who said Nike does them the best, I prefer the consistent shapes to the weird overlaps that some of the Under Armour stripes have

There, everybody's happy, even the equipment managers. Win/win/win/more win situation

It would also encourage teams to bring back white alternates. We haven't seen too many of those in recent years. My Habs could finally wear the 1945 jerseys again (reverse version of home jerseys with the chest stripe)

 

You have to rotate so they wear white jerseys in the playoffs every other season.

They should have finished the N and A. Make the Half K their signature.
