  1. What in the blue hell?!!! Oh my god, I do not know how they are going to get past this, but this is going to be another Cleveland Browns vs Cincinnati Bengals feud. The nearly identical colors, same conference, same division, playing twice a year, and also having a deep-rooted history (with the Browns and the Bengals it is Paul Brown; with the Titans and Texans it is the City of Houston).
  2. See, that's what I was talking about on my last post here. I was talking about how the silver numbers with white trim on the blue jerseys match the sleeve stripes because they were basically the same which is why I like the 1975-1982 look of the 1975-2002 uniforms. I never liked the second half of the 1975-2002 uniforms which was the 1983-2002 uniforms because of the flipping of the number colors.
  3. I am still partial to the 1975-1982 version of the 1975-2002 uniforms because the Northwestern University Stripes matched the silver numbers with white trim because the sleeve stripes themselves were silver with white trim.
  4. Better, their 1975-2002 template is MUCH better than their post-WCF era uniforms. The 1975-1982 uniforms has some nice silver numbers with white trim. The 1983-2002 uniforms did improve on the number colors flipping them around, but to be honest, the silver numbers with white trim was far superior.
  5. See, that is the main problem. I want them to come back so badly, but the problem within that uniform to many casual NFL fans was unrecognizable. They do not know the history of the AFL unless they looked it up or watched YouTube videos about it. It seems the Jets became visually famous because of Joe Namath which is why most of the late Gen X'ers knew about the history of the Jets from 1994-1998 (when the return of the Namath era 1965-1977 uniforms came to life, but with a darker shade of green we call, Asparagus).
  6. The 2018 set sucks so badly. They were not as great as anyone wanted them to be like.
  7. :censored:, nevermind! They do have green pants with the set!
  8. 1978-1989 arrives once again with the Jets. YAY!!! I love it. I hope to god they do not make green pants for that set. But geez almighty, they look unbeatable. Next to the 2020 Chargers, they have the best set ever!
  9. That was 2023. Those helmets are the Detroit Lion's third helmets.
  10. You mean 1978-1989? The 1990-1997 ones that added black as an accent was decent, but not as good as the plain green and whites from 1978-1989.
  11. I agree with that. It clutters the uniform altogether.
  12. I never understood that. I know it was for the memory of George Halas, but he has been dead since 1983. His daughter and her husband (his son in law) were the ones who were riding the 1985 Superbowl Shuffle and the 1985-1986 NFL Playoffs was their grandstand. But I think it's time they let Halas go and stop putting the GSH on the side of the sleeves. Same with the Chiefs. Lamar Hunt as well. He hired a coach in 1987-1988 that was a notorious liar and for something like that, you have to wonder. The players loved him, but he lied and many other coaches laughed at that coach. I think the coach's name in question is Frank Ganz I believe. Clark Hunt runs the team now, and I understand it's his father for :censored: sakes, but come on now. It's time they just grieve by themselves or just leave these names off the uniforms because the older generation including my generation that was the late Gen X (1973-1980) remembers Lamar Hunt (or slightly) and we knew that he created something that turned into greatness. Al Lerner just sucks altogether and the AL when it was on the jerseys reminds me of the American League in the MLB every time I see it.
  13. Exactly. They look great with the correct socks. Otherwise, those looks are just plain awesome. Jaguars in all teal look better with black socks. That is like the Panthers in all black look better with the process cyan socks.
  14. Both of them suck. I rather had kept the St. Louis Rams ram's head logo and use the type face they have for their scripts, but the LA and rams head they currently use sucks so bad, it just ugly and demeaning. I just saw this just now on my alerts. I never said have the helmet as the logo. I would prefer the St. Louis Rams ram head they used just with the royal blue and athletic gold colors.
  15. Once again, I stated how generic it is putting a mascot head on a helmet just like how the Baltimore Ravens had to do that in 1999 and decided a raven's head works for a logo, It was very silly to me and it could of been done differently if I had my way. The gradient goofy stuff was not my cup of tea, sir. I never was into that 1990's goofy designs similar how the NBA did theirs in the 1990's which is why I do not cherish 1990's designs or the culture. But you seem like you are confused as to what I said.
  16. I did not say that either. I am just saying using a Ram's head is as generic as how the Ravens had to ditch the shield due to legal reasons and couldn't make anything interest that could include another shield with the bird using some Old English stuff? But looking at the Rams, the horns on the helmet is very unique and is a mainstay since 1948.
  17. No, with the Rams, keep the horns. If the Rams gotten a logo, it would not fare well with fans as they are used to the horns on the helmets. I find the horns on the helmet to be awesome. I like it. Downsizing the Rams helmet where they are just like every NFL team is just not unique. The Rams and Bengals have a unique helmet and not to be touched because it is creative for 1948 and 1981 respectfully.
  18. I like that better. The C with the helmet stripe. How about the solid colors with stripes from the B logo would look like.
  19. Well, good. Now they need to actually make the orange pants be a mainstay as well as the white helmets with the 1946's uniforms since they wore white helmets from 1946-1950.
  20. I guess I am more partial to white numbers with whatever secondary color trim on very dark uniforms (i.e burgundy, navy blue, maroon, black, pewter (god forbid), and slate grey).
  21. Yes, but do you think the medium red (it is darker than the Kansas City Chiefs red they use) would work with navy blue? Because if you make the white trim at least legible similar to the Raiders white throwbacks from their 1970 look where the black trim was slightly thicker to make the silver numbers look in place instead of a thin black trim which would make the silver numbers hard to read.
  22. Ok, but that WFL Portland team has navy blue numbers with white trim on an electric lime jersey and you wasn't sold on that?
  23. But that is indoors. Most NHL and NBA teams can pull that off. Being that some teams have outdoor type stadiums, it couldn't possibly work you can try it out for once.
  24. I understand the red jerseys and red helmets. But red numbers with white trim on navy blue would look bad. I can see it being a black jersey and the red being a little lighter (Kansas City Chief style red), but with the look, I can't see the navy blue jerseys having red numbers. The red jerseys with Houston blue numbers with white trim would look very beautiful with Houston blue helmets. That would be a very beautiful look for the team.
