  1. Moving to Texas Flag Blue is logical, but I don’t know if it works with their expected used of Oiler Blue in some fashion. If only as an alternate, then I’d fully support this update.
  2. My wife’s family are all diehard Hoosiers. I can’t even watch the teams because of how bad the adidas looks are. Praying they flip to Nike. And yea…Crimson & Cream.
  3. Huge fan of Native American use of turquoise. I may be in the minority, but I’d love to see these on-field. Assume they’d need to be paired with a new white helmet and pants.
  4. Overall it’s a great set. I do wish they removed the helmet numbers and I could go without the Royal Blue alt because the Navy alts are so nice.
  5. Still don't love the number fonts, but I can respect the desire to keep it consistent. Amazing the difference that a solid uniform template & manufacturer can make.
  6. Thought this happened last year, no? For those that missed it, TB12 also merged into No Bull.
  7. I think, since Dwayne has his Project Rock catchphrases plastered on the shorts instead of team names or the logo being the focus, that UA will be the official uniform & apparel provider.
  8. Haven't seen anything confirmed, but if they're providing cleats and backpacks, it's probably the case. With The Rock still heavily involved, I assume he insisted on and helped make that deal. And since 5/8 teams are already in their uniforms, it really makes things easier on the league than having to contract a new manufacturer with different templates to do all 8. Several of the XFL team uniforms were designed around UA's latest template, so unless they had to for one reason or another, or just really wanted to go in a different direction, I don't see why they would. Someone else mentioned Starter & New Era....it looks like most of the merch aside from the Vintage Helmet tee that is being sold on their website is old stock - multiple pieces have XFL or USFL logos on them still.
  9. And severely underestimates how much businesses know how customers will behave…and how they take advantage of it.
  10. The Yankees literally just changed their jerseys. In fact, the all of MLB is now using a “new & improved” uniform from Nike (that some players have vocally rejected). This new style means a whole new line of replicas. It’s a longstanding model Nike uses. It’s a product cycle. In the NFL, Nike has gone through 3 templates in 10 years. While the basic “Game” jersey replica hasn’t changed, the “Limited” and highest end replicas have. Not to mention, the teams that care about their iconic looks (Chiefs, Steelers, Raiders, Packers, Cowboys) have all resisted change, but all of those, except the Chiefs, have embraced alternates and/or throwbacks. Cha-ching.
  11. It’s called Planned Obsolescense and you’re probably right.
  12. Sounds like something non-football people - ahem, new owners AKA Walton family - would want to do. Expecting Wal-Mart quality here.
  13. Let’s pray to God these Broncos rumors aren’t true. Happy if they’re using the Elways as the Throwback, but good grief this snow-capped mountain on the sleeves bull:censored: is sounding no good.
  14. Texas Renegades would be a great name if they were the only team in the state. Obviously similar to Texas Rangers, but still would be an improvement over Arlington.
  15. Sad, but predictable, that the XFL teams aren’t making any changes or fixes, namely Dallas with their helmet.
  16. No. 1. Brown/Orange vs Black/Orange with bengal tiger stripes on every piece of the uniform does not. 2. It's not 1968. What you're saying is a mock-up of two teams with identical colors and uniform components look nothing like each other. It's gaslighting for the sake of being contentious.
  17. Literally same helmet color, facemask color, logo fill & outline, number fill & outline, with a 3-stripe pattern on the pant in inverted colors, and similar, although not the same, sleeve stripes. But sure, pal - nothing like the Bears. God, your arrogance is astounding.
  18. This is too Bears-ish for me. It truly is this simple: However, we didn’t get those White helmets last season for nothing. You can rest assured we’ll get a :censored: show.
  19. I knew that “S” looked familiar:
  20. Can't agree with you on these being over-hated. The shard design was sh!t. Only thing that worked was the helmet paint and the number font, so I'm glad these are going in the trash bin. I do agree that Nike has to be taking a long look in the mirror after all of these rejections. So does the league, who I believe has ultimate approval. I also think we're seeing a trend that's linked a little bit to society and a desire to return to some traditional norms. You have to ask, if we're moving in such a fast-forward manner with technology and "progressive" values, why is nostalgia so effective? People see these throwback or classic uniforms and it takes them back to a simpler, and for many, better time. In a world where nothing seems normal anymore, I think people innately find comfort going back to something that is standard and not overly complex or new.
  21. Not sure who the guys are behind ProLine Mockups but they're doing the Lord's work: I still prefer Green/White/Solid Green socks and White/White/Solid Green socks.
  22. Seahawks? That'd be a stretch. Could've gone without Purple in this year's Vegas Super Bowl; makes more sense in New Orleans, but now we have it 2 years in a row.
  23. I mean, if any team was going to roll out a Black alt, rolling with "Gotham Nights" in New York makes a tad bit of sense.
  24. Maybe the fact that they're going with the "Legacy" theme means they'll honor that a bit and not mix & match as much. We can hope. It would be nice if they just followed the other traditional franchises in the league and quit playing Barbie with uniforms. Green/Green/White and Green/White/White. You want to mix up socks? Fine. But if you leave Green pants out of the mix, I don't see any reason they'd wear the White jerseys with Black pants, being that the Sack Exchange White jerseys have no Black on them.
  25. Not a bad brand to be compared to...at all. As for the Black unis, the White outline does seem more likely, and here's how that essentially looks (along with how white NOB would mesh with it): Personally, I still don't like it. This probably comes from coaching at a school that had Black/Red/White uniforms; on our Black unis, we had Red numbers with White outlines and it was miserable, even from the sideline, let alone the bleachers or the game film. We fixed it when we bought new unis by doing a 3-color with Red fill, Black inner outline, White outer outline, but that doesn't gel with the Sack Exchange template, either. So, they'll either do what you see above, or they'll remove the White outline from the helmet logo on the Black helmet and go Browns/49ers.
