I've been to Fayetteville a couple years ago during a mission trip. Nice place. Glad to see them get a team. I'm not a fan of minor league clubs copying their parent's identity, but Fayetteville Astros has a nice sound to it.

Having a team in the Sun Belt join the Big XII just seems like the longest of long-shots to me. With the LBGT groups pushing to keep BYU out of the Big XII, I believe that will be the determining factor in keeping them out, which is too bad because I think BYU would be a decent fit. Besides, IMHO, the conference needs to go a little more eastern and a little less western to help bridge the gap between West Virginia & the rest of the pack. Cincinnati would most certainly help this, which is why I think they will be the 11th team. As for the 12th, it's a bit of a toss up between Houston & Memphis. I'd like to see Memphis to add a bit of variety, but Houston is a much better fit. Cincinnati & Houston it is. Then again, this could all be pointless discussion in the event they say "LOL Nope" to the 17 candidates.

I love fun minor-league nicknames as much as anyone around here, as I've made clear that the YardGoats, Bananas, & Biscuits are my favorite team names. This one as well as the New Orleans Zephyrs' rebrand is disappointing, though this one is more so than New Orleans'. The Manatees name was good and unique. I guess Brandiose must be pretty bored and is asking teams to rebrand so that they have something to do. Hopefully they change their mind on the "Florida" name, but I doubt it. Out of the options listed, Toucans is the best option with Fireflies a close second. The main reason I put Toucans ahead is because it's a unique name, has great potential for a bright & colorful logo set, and we just got a new team with the Fireflies name this year. We don't need a second. Based of the descrpitions, Mud Kickers sounds stupid and somewhat-generic in a Minor League Baseball way, Florida Sorcerers sounds like a statewide Harry Potter fan club, Fire Frogs is "meh", and Rodeo Clowns sounds terrifying. Toucans it is then.

I've noticed them getting worse as well. I, as I'm sure most users do, speed scroll through threads, mainly in the sports logos and concepts sections. That way I can skip the unrelated discussion and skip right to the content. It's really bad on mobile when you can't really tell how big the page is, then suddenly, you've got a screen full of physics-defying animated chests or ads wanting to introduce you to Russian/Slovakian/Latina/Asian spam/hacker accounts. If this site really wants to enforce its somewhat-PG13 label and steer clear of content such as what was posted in the BotW thread, then why the heck is that one of the prominent features on the website?

Yeah, seeing Hillcats on the list was kind of odd. It'd be a wasted process if it ends up winning. Derechos is something i never would've thought of, but sounds great for a minor league team. The explanation for the Love Apples is ridiculous. "Based on the legend that Thomas Jefferson bit into a tomato to prove that it wasn't poisonous". What? Seriously? That's what you're gonna go with? I hope nobody votes for that option. Derechos is the best option here.

Po'Boys. Pleeeeeaaaaase. Seriously though, Crawfish is the best option with Night Owls second, but Po'Boys would be up there with the Hartford Yard Goats and the Savannah Bananas in terms of my favorite league team brands.

Is there a way to add photos into a post after they've been uploaded through Dropbox? I tried copy and pasting them into the post once they uploaded, and I could see them once I made the post, but no one else could see them and they were coming up as broken links.

So it seems as if these issues have fixed themselves somehow as I'm on mobile right now.

I love the upgrade and all, but recently, I've been having a couple issues on the mobile version. The first is that I'm not able to see my own profile information. I click the three lines in the upper-right-hand corner, yet nothing happens. Also, I'm not able to comment on anything from mobile. As you can see in the screenshot below, the comment box is gone even though it still gives me the option to "submit a reply". Any ideas?

Yeah, that's nice. I think the purple text might be a little too dark against the black, but that's a minor quibble. Agreed. Maybe the gold/tan could be used for the letters? Or would that be too much gold?

While the primary and monogram are both improvements, uhh..... good grief, what the heck? The thing doesn't even have a neck.
