It was already mentioned that the Giants will be wearing their Color Rush throwbacks against the Bills, but I didn’t see anyone mention that they’ll actually be going with the proper throwback navy shells:

Last year they still wore the royal helmets with the CR uni despite having the throwback navy lids in the rotation:

Now if they could just wear blue socks…

These are a lot better than the whites IMO, though I feel like the wordmark is still a tad too small and I once again find it really odd that the shorts don’t have the Beaver head on them.

I personally would be surprised to see TikTok get the front shirt sponsorship. If they did, though, it wouldn’t look too bad as long as they used the horizontal logo like what Wrexham had on the front of their shirts the last two seasons:

Really is a shame, as Alaska has been one of the better looking sponsors in the league (even with all of the logo variations the Timbers have worn). I’ll always have a soft spot for Alaska for putting their retro logo on the Timbers’ two retro third kits.

The linked article says that the Timbers have already inked a deal with a new sponsor, so there’s no chance of them being sponsorless next year. My absolute best case scenario would be Tillamook, who T2 had as a sponsor last year:

Realistically I think it could well be Dutch Bros, who has been the training kit sponsor for a few years. I’m hoping it’s not Daimler, who is the current sponsor for T2. Their logo looks abysmal on the kits:

This looks perfectly fine IMO, still an unnecessary change but it works well enough with the helmet and pant stripes:

You expect to see a mismatch like this in high school football. I said it before, it legitimately looks like an error that nobody caught before pushing the order through.

Arizona State had originally planned on wearing their new black uniform with the glow in the dark number outlines tomorrow vs. Colorado, but they’ve changed to traditional gold/maroon/gold because of the game being a mid-day kickoff:

This won’t come as a surprise, but the Blazers will be one of the teams getting a black city uniform again this year. I’m optimistic on the design based on what I’ve been told, but I do find it ridiculous that this’ll be the 5th time in 7 years that the Blazers will have a black/dark gray city uniform.

Correct, the custom neck piece debuted with their current uniform set in 2021. The black uniform they wore in 2021, which was originally meant to have been worn in 2020, had a rubberized piece with the standard mesh cutouts:

Other than that, every other FUSE uniform has used the standard mesh collar detail.

The Ducks have finally revealed their long-awaited throwback uniforms:

They’re the exact same as the ones worn in 2014, just executed on the FUSE template. The only change is the addition of the front and back bumper logos. They’re going into a bye week, so this is an interesting time for them to do this reveal. They won’t be wearing them in their next game, at Washington, but they will be worn soon after that (very soon). 

Arizona wore red uniforms last night for the first time since (I believe) 2020. The jerseys and pants are essentially just color-swapped versions of their new navy tops and pants, just with a contrasting collar like the white jerseys. It feels right for Arizona to have a red option back in the fold; here’s hoping they wear white/red/white some time this year.

I suppose it’s possible that they stripped the old numbers, but I’m guessing the jerseys were just blanks that the EQ staff had. It’s fairly common for teams to sew their own numbers on jerseys, so if they had inventory of blank gray jerseys it would be pretty easy to put different numbers on. In this case, it looks like they used the same numbers as the ones on their new black jerseys that they wore vs. Nebraska. They’re single-layer twill white numbers with a black outline.

Nike does not make the flywire template anymore, at least that I’m aware of. They certainly don’t offer it in any catalog anymore.

Black/gray/gray. The black lids have the same white buff decals that they wore against Nebraska, while the “new” gray jerseys are really just their old Elite 51 tops with white numbers and white NOB’s put on them.

Can’t say I’m surprised. When the Ducks changed the fan color from black to green for this week, I figured there was a pretty good chance that meant the Cardinal were gonna be wearing their black unis. Oh well, I’m glad the Ducks are wearing a bright, classic look to counter Stanford’s black set.

Can’t say I’m a fan, personally. I don’t mind the striping, but I really dislike the tiny script logo paired with one-color numbers. I’m hoping the black and orange uniforms don’t have the script logo. I also find it odd that the shorts don’t have the Beaver logo either in the side panels or on one side of the lower front.
 

I much prefer the new uniforms that the women’s team got last season, both in terms of the word mark treatments and the striping:

The Ducks are going with their classic green/white/green (one of the combos that should be worn every season IMO) at Stanford. Should be a great looking game as long as Furd doesn’t wear black.

Of course it is (Adidas has a different name for it, but still). That’s not what I meant by my comment.

Utah is going black/white/black at Oregon State. Certainly not my favorite combo of theirs, but it’s a good choice to counter the Beavs’ mono-orange.
