  1. So is Utah going to do what Memphis did in 2019/20 and just use the "Classic" as the "City" edition? Also no news on "Earned Uniforms" as they only appeared in 2019 and 2021 seasons respectfully. Since the playoffs will be in an odd numbered year you would think the "Earned" sets would come back. So are clubs going to change up their "Statement" uniforms to be entirely different than the Home and Away (Association and Icon). Remember that back before the NIKE takeover the Alternates (Statement) for the most part mirrored their Home and Away set. So will the Heat come out with a totally different Red "Statement" uniform in a few years that is totally different. I ask because Portland's new red statement doesn't say "Portland" or "Blazers".
  2. Still not certain why EA never added missing White Away Throwback uniforms to Madden starting in the PS3 era. They blazed past PS4 and now the PS5 still doesn't have them (80's Broncos White/80's Seahawks White/80's Oilers White etc.).
  3. So I'm gonna take a wild guess on the missing city sets. Sacramento - Purple & Black 90's Fauxback Houston- Red & Yellow Honoring Gilley's Detroit- Red Another Blue Collar Auto inspired similar to the 18/19/20/21 sets Indiana- Royal Blue Reggie Miller Fauxback Orlando- Black Honoring Orlando Nights based on leak Charlotte- Purple Ric Flair/Jim Crockett Promotion inspired Minnesota- White Tetris Inspired honoring local art work of Downtown Minneapolis-St. Paul Utah none . Pulling a 2019-20 Memphis and using a classic as the "City". Also since we're going be headed into an odd numbered year, does that mean "Earned" editions will be back?
  4. Aside from the new All Star logo what about actual uniforms etc? Hopefully the Marlins break out the 1993-02 Teal Uniform to wear for Sunday home games. Also the other 16 teams that don't have City Connect will now have them.
  5. So Orlando will have the most bland/boring city set this season? Also since it's going to be an odd numbered year (2023) will there be "Earned" edition uniforms?
  6. So will all 30 clubs have "City" editions this year and the clubs that had "City" sets last year will be retained? I always love guessing on the NBA edition sets so I'll try for MLB. Atlanta- Navy 70's Hank Aaron Fauxback Washington- Cream Senators Fauxback Philadelphia- Maroon Liberty Bell Inspired Cincinnati- White w/Red Pinstripes Fauxback Milwaukee- Royal Blue County Stadium Inspired St. Louis -White Honoring Stan Musial (Cardinals follow Lakers of NBA who dedicate City editions to past players) Pittsburgh- Black w/Yellow Pinstripes Fauxback Colorado- Dark Green and Purple Rocky Mountain Inspired San Diego- Brown 80's Fauxback Baltimore- Black & Orange Earl Weaver Fauxback New York- White/w Pinstripes 1927 Fauxback Tampa Bay- Dark Green 1998 Fauxback Toronto- Red Honoring Canada Cleveland - Brown & Orange honoring the Browns Detroit- Cream 1920's Fauxback Kansas City- White w/Red honoring Kansas City Monarchs Minnesota- Purple Prince Inspired California -Navy 1980's Fauxback Houston -Orange Astrodome Inspired Oakland- Monochrome Green honoring Charlie Finley Seattle- Blue & Gold 1980's Fauxback Texas- Blue & Red 1980's Fauxback
  7. I noticed around The Show 19 Chief Wahoo was missing from the sleeves/caps of the 1989 "Major League" uniforms. Also the 1948 set is missing Chief Wahoo on the sleeves (sorry not sorry I loved the 1940's Chief Wahoo on the sleeves). The Show has the 1973 Tigers & Yankees uniforms. I personally use those in The Show because they don't have the NIKE swoosh and also the I prefer the Tigers road uniforms pre 1994. Speaking of The Show there are so many missing Road Uniforms/Alternate Uniforms from sets that drive me crazy. I could do a whole post on what's missing but we won't go there. Hopefully this year in 22 they add the missing road uniforms (Baltimore 1995/San Fransisco 1983-93/Chicago 1990-93/Milwaukee 1994-96 Alternate/San Diego 1997-2003 Alternate) in the game.
  8. Yes Madden 05-12 on the final days of PS2 had those uniforms plus a monochrome Jaguars Teal Top/Pants combination that was never worn. Sadly for some reason EA doesn't add Away Throwback uniforms for most teams. Missing Away Throwback uniforms Buffalo 1990 White New England 1985 White/w Red Pants New England 1993-1999 White (also EA has the 93-99 Home in Dark Navy when it should be Royal blue) New York Jets 1985 White & 1991 White w/Kelly Green Pants Cincinnati 1970 White & 1988 White Houston Oilers 1979 White Jacksonville 1995 White Denver 1965 White & 1986 White LA-San Diego 1980 White & 1994 White New York 1986 White Washington (for obvious reasons) Philadelphia 1980 White Tampa Bay 1979 White & 1992 White/w Creamsicle pants Atlanta 1980 White & 1991 White Seattle 1979 White Phoenix 1992 White w/Dark Red Pants
  9. Well EA did eliminate all previous Washington uniforms. Sadly it looks like previous Cleveland uniforms may not be in The Show going forward.
  10. Hopefully MLB 22 The Show will retain Cleveland's previous uniforms. They can always compromise. Just replace the previous name with "Cleveland" on the 1994 Home White/Navy Alternate and 1989 Home White.
  11. I love the guessing game Missing City's Minnesota Green (honoring hunting season) Sacramento White (fauxback honoring 2002 club) Utah White (honoring Utah Winters) Detroit Navy (another Motor City uniform to honor) Indiana Navy (Reggie Miller fauxback inspired) Orlando Black (1989-1999 fauxback inspired) Charlotte Black (Charlotte Coliseum inspired) Houston Gray (NASA inspired) New Statments Charlotte Purple (hopefully matches current home/away) Denver Red (they've been wearing red accessories this season) Oklahoma City Navy (updated version of 2017-2019 Statement) Washington Navy New York Royal Houston Black Detroit Dark Gray Sacramento Black Cleveland Black Classic Atlanta 1985-86 White New City edition meaning guesses Oklahoma City Gray- Looks like old Adidas swing man jerseys Denver White Fauxback inspired Portland Black- Honoring PDX carpet and also the hipster community like the 2017-18 & 2018-19 sets Lakers White- Jerry West Inspired? Clippers Black- Updated from 2020-21 pandemic season Phoenix Teal- Honoring Arizona desert/Native American community Golden State Dark Gray/Black/w Yellow- Updated version of 2019-20 set honoring clouds above the city of Oakland Dallas Blue- Fauxback Reunion Arena inspired San Antone Teal- Update of 75th Anniversary remix Memphis Black- Fauxback of 2001-2004 road uniform New Orleans -Dark Purple updated version of 2018-2020 set Chicago White Fauxback inspired Cleveland White- "The Land" honoring Cleveland's blue collar work ethic Milwaukee Blue- Again honoring Lake Michigan and a nice nod to Pabst Blue Ribbon beer like the 2020-21 set Toronto Black- Fauxback inspired New York Black- Updated version of 75th Anniversary remix Brooklyn White- Updated version of 2020-21 set Boston Dark Green- Red Auerbach or Bill Russell inspired Philadelphia White- City Nickname "Brotherly Love" Washington Pink -Honoring Cherry Trees and George Washington Atlanta Black- Honoring City Culture and the peach trees of Georgia Miami White-Updated Version of 75th Anniversary Remix Ransom Note Set
  12. Well based on locker vision I decided to play the guessing game again on the missing City editions. (What can I say, I enjoy it). OKC- White Portland- Black Golden State- Midnight Navy Sacramento- Royal Blue Clippers- Black San Antone- White Houston- Red New Orleans- White Detroit- Red Boston- Green New York- Orange Toronto- Red Charlotte- Purple w/Pinstripes Washington- Red Orlando- Gray
  13. I was hoping for Wine or even having the Rocky Mountain Rainbows on. So I'm just gonna go on a limb for the rest that haven't been leaked OKC- NAVY Portland- Black Clippers- Black Golden State- Black Sacramento- Carolina Blue San Antone- White Houston- Yellow New Orleans- White Detroit- Teal Boston- Green New York- Orange Toronto- Red Charlotte- Gold Orlando- Gray Washington- Red
  14. That's what I thought but it looks like the Knicks/Celtics/Warriors will also have City editions. So: Knicks- Orange ? Celtics-Green ? Warriors- Black?
  15. MLB to possibly do City and "Earned" for the playoff teams?
  16. Lamar Hunt Bridge. Their 2018-19 Gray City edition was to honor the bridge while the first City edition was for the Dallas Skyline at night.
  17. So the Knicks will have three white uniforms this season? Association, Classic, and City? Or will the City be Blue and they'll have three Blue uniforms (Icon, Statement, and City)?
  18. 76ers making a nice nod to the Spectrum in their set. From the NBA 2k screenshots earlier looks like Golden State (Black or Navy), Portland (Black Rip City), San Antone (White Fiesta/Hemisphere Arena), New Orleans (White NOLA), Clippers (Black w/90's woodwork) are indeed legit. So far this week Philadelphia (honoring the Spectrum), Minnesota (Mashup), and Memphis (Mashup and honoring Isaac Hayes again) have been leaked. Can't wait to see what the others are Oklahoma City -Navy Denver- Wine Sacramento- Red Houston- Yellow Milwaukee- Lime Green Indiana- Royal Blue Detroit- Turqoise Boston- Green New York- Dark Navy Toronto- Black Charlotte- Teal Orlando- Silver Washington- Red
  19. So basically teams without prior history (Pelicans & Thunder) will do a basic "City" tie in honoring their city. The NBA 2k images a month back someone spotted a white "NOLA" uniform so it looks like the Pelicans will be a White "NOLA" honoring the city nickname. As for the 76ers I can see them doing a mashup of the 1997-2009 Iverson version mashup with the Liberty Bell.
  20. Still interesting to see what Oklahoma City does with their "City/Heritage" edition. Will they do a Seattle fauxback in Thunder colors and say "Thunder" ? Will they bring back one of their previous City editions ? If so the 18-19 Native American one would be fine. Sucks 2k won't add previous City/Earned sets.
  21. Still sticking with my original "predictions" but no one has answered as if the Celtics/Knicks/Warriors will have "City" editions this year or are the "classic" editions their "City" editions this year. Also are the Thunder going to do a Seattle Sonics Fauxback but in Thunder colors? It sucks NBA 2k has fans in the audience in previous City/Earned/Classic Nike jerseys but they aren't in the game. I suppose it's because they're following Football (Soccer) in that kits change every year. Also are the "Earned" editions only every other year (Odd number years when the Finals take place) ?
  22. City or Heritage Edition ad they are called this year. Still waiting on @Conrad.to confirm if the Celtics/Knicks/Warrios will also have a "City/Heritage" edition or are the "Classic" editions their "City" sets this year? Oklahoma City-Turquoise & Orange Updated Native American Heritage set Denver- Wine Fauxback to the 1993-2003 set but will have Rocky Mountains on belt/shorts Utah- Last season's set honoring Utah Mountain range Portland- Black "Rip City" updated from the 2019-20 edition Minnesota- Kelly Green honoring 1989-1996 uniforms Lakers- Purple already seen Phoenix- Last seasons set Clippers- Black with 90's woodwork Warriors- Black Honoring the 1975 Championship club Kings- Red Fauxback of 1984-1994 set Dallas- White already leaked honoring original logo and Reunion Arena San Antone- White Updated Fiesta set honoring The Hemisphere Arena Houston- Yellow Fauxback based on 1994 & 1995 championships Memphis- Black Fauxback honoring their 20th Anniversary of being in Memphis New Orleans- White "NOLA" city nickname inspired Chicago -Red Fauxback already leaked Cleveland- Red already leaked honoring first logo and Richfield Coliseum Detroit- Teal Fauxback version of the Bad Boys set Milwaukee- Lime Green honoring the 1985-1993 set Indiana- Royal Blue Fauxback of 1990-1997 set Brooklyn- Navy Nets Fauxback honoring 20th Anniversary of First Finals appearance New York- Orange Fauxback of 1979-89 set Toronto-Blue Fauxback of 1995-1999 set Boston- Green honoring Red Auerbach Philadelphia- Blue Fauxback of 1991-1994 set Miami -Black already leaked honoring team history Atlanta- Yellow already leaked Fauxback based on 1995-1998 set and honoring the Omni Charlotte-Gold Fauxback of 1988-2002 set Orlando- Silver Fauxback of 1989-1999 set Washington- Blue Fauxback of 1987-1997 set
  23. Too bad 2k won't put back in all the previous City/Earned editions. Only one that's in is the 2017-18 Lakers Black Mamba uniform. Also from the previous screenshots at the Heat game there was last seasons Blue-Pink city edition plus the pink 2019 Earned. One can dream 2k will patch them all in. Anyway to the Celtics, Knicks, and Warriors will also have a City edition as well as the Heritage editions? Anyway time to guess and see what colors and themes are for this season. Oklahoma City-Turquoise & Orange Updated Native American Heritage set Denver- Wine Fauxback to the 1993-2003 set but will have Rocky Mountains on belt/shorts Utah- Last season's set honoring Utah Mountain range Portland- Black "Rip City" updated from the 2019-20 edition Minnesota- Kelly Green honoring 1989-1996 uniforms Lakers- Purple already seen Phoenix- Last seasons set Clippers- Black with 90's woodwork Warriors- Black Honoring the 1975 Championship club Kings- Red Fauxback of 1984-1994 set Dallas- White already leaked honoring original logo and Reunion Arena San Antone- White Updated Fiesta set honoring The Hemisphere Arena Houston- Yellow Fauxback based on 1994 & 1995 championships Memphis- Black Fauxback honoring their 20th Anniversary of being in Memphis New Orleans- White "NOLA" city nickname inspired Chicago -Red Fauxback already leaked Cleveland- Red already leaked honoring first logo and Richfield Coliseum Detroit- Teal Fauxback version of the Bad Boys set Milwaukee- Lime Green honoring the 1985-1993 set Indiana- Royal Blue Fauxback of 1990-1997 set Brooklyn- Navy Nets Fauxback honoring 20th Anniversary of First Finals appearance New York- Orange Fauxback of 1979-89 set Toronto-Blue Fauxback of 1995-1999 set Boston- Green honoring Red Auerbach Philadelphia- Blue Fauxback of 1991-1994 set Miami -Black already leaked honoring team history Atlanta- Yellow already leaked Fauxback based on 1995-1998 set and honoring the Omni Charlotte-Gold Fauxback of 1988-2002 set Orlando- Silver Fauxback of 1989-1999 set Washington- Blue Fauxback of 1987-1997 set
  24. Unfortunately from this video on Twitter no previous City or Earned uniforms which is sad. Just hoping PS4 version gets this year's city editions.
  25. No Now that I look back at the screenshot, I don't see the Pelican stripes under "NOLA". Still would be cool if 2k22 gets all previous City & Earned Editions especially on the PS4.
