Sam Howell is QB1 and the team was telling OC candidates this during interviews. I don’t see the team going after QBs like Carr or Rodgers. Why undermine a young QBs confidence like that? As far as anyone should be concerned, they’re out of the QB race. Hopefully for a while.

Looks like Eric Bieniemy will be the new OC in Washington, and if all goes well, when Rivera gets fired retires, he’ll probably be the successor. Unrelated note- I loathe when sports media outlets call draft prospects “rare breeds” as if they’re discussing dogs and then turn around and have 5+ different outlets comparing them to former and current players. What’s so “rare” about them then? This “rare breed” buffoonery is as eye roll inducing as “generational talent” behavior.

Funneling money into the Frederick Screaming Alpacas for 2-3 seasons only to rebrand as the Hagerstown Slum Bums sure is something.

You’d think they wouldn’t be dumb and just go with “Frederick” generic create-a-team uniforms. Side-Note: I’m fairly certain the Frederick Atlantic team is only playing in Frederick until the new stadium gets built in Hagerstown.

“Screaming Alpacas” is in reference to Frederick County’s 4-H (agricultural) community.. I’ve grown up around and in Frederick County’s agricultural footprint and not for one second have I ever envisioned alpacas as the face of farming here. As for the other finalists- • There is a MARC train that rides through the city, so sure “Rail Frogs” or whatever. • The Civil War was a big thing in Frederick. There’s signs plastered everywhere about it, but would never think doctors/“sawbones” • I mean, I guess ghost dogs and other hauntings are a thing in the city. • I’ve only ever seen one “bone shaker” in my life living in Frederick. It’s a moot idea. When I think “Frederick”, I see- • Baker Park with its clock tower that can be heard all throughout the City of Frederick • Carroll Creek which runs through the Downtown District • The Downtown nightlife • Farming, but more so cattle and pig than alpacas. Everything outside of the city is quite literally farm land. • The portion of Route 40 at the edge of the city known as “The Golden Mile” • The ESSL (Earth, Space, and Science Lab) which is known for teaching elementary school children about its namesake • The sink holes we get every couple of years. Specifically the most recent ones. One delayed the opening of our newest Royal Farms and the other swallowed the inside of a new Rutters. I think they have a fascination with gas stations. • Home to the Roy Rogers restaurant headquarters. There’s six locations in Frederick alone. • The small trailer park behind Lowe’s nestled between Routes 85 & 355 At the end of the day, Give me an amphibian with a conductor’s hat riding in a train. Go Rail Frogs.

As a resident of Frederick, all those names :censored:ing suck. These were intended to be fan/resident submissions. When you submitted your suggestion, you had to explain why it represented Frederick and its community. Absolutely none of these make any damn sense. Shameful antics.

“Team X rested their starters, that’s why Team Y’s player did so good” is such a weird useless rebuttal. Don’t you think if the player sucked, he would’ve… ya know… sucked regardless of who else was in the game?

The problem(?) with Heinicke is the second Howell doesn’t do his job right, fans will clamor and foam at the mouth for Heinicke to be QB1. Taylor is great guy to have behind and support Howell for sure. He even advocated for Howell to start against Dallas. However, the team needs a QB they absolutely know won’t threaten Howell in the slightest.

Same deal with a lot of Washington fans about Sam Howell. The team literally said they’re telling prospective OC candidates that Howell is QB1 headed into next season. Somehow, wires got crossed and fans (and media) still think the team is going to throw the whole house at a big dollar FA QB (Garoppolo) or trade for one (Carr). Stick with Howell, low risk with money, and use the money to build around him. Support goes a long way.

Any Super Bowl that has an over abundance of one (or more) of the same colors worn by both teams is the worst. Should this be in Unpopular Opinions?

Still a firm believer that TB should rebrand to Sun-Rays, but only if they get an open stadium built. I’d also love if either the Mets or Yankees had a subway system themed City Connect uniform.

Socks are seen as part of the official uniform (to some of us) and we are members of a website that literally discusses uniform shenanigans amongst other dealings. Getting bent out of shape over people talking about socks is a weird flex.

Speaking of Rams, I think it’s hilarious the league gave them approval to wear the “modern throwback” last year in the SB. Even the league knew the bone uniform was dog :censored:

Didn’t the AAF always have a guy in-stadium with a monitor and Xbox controller reviewing calls on the field? Seems like all these startup leagues put way more thought into the on-field product than the big league.
