Just found out that Jari Kurri played for 3 different teams in his last 3 years. I've only ever thought of him as an Oiler and King. This should also be mentioned... Even as a coach, that just seems off.

Not even these two?

Ya there was absolutely no need for those new jerseys. Complete downgrade.
-
The Montreal Canadiens overall set gets dumbed down by it's a way jersey. Hands down one of the worst jerseys in the NHL. Also, the Carolina Hurricanes jersey isn't that bad. It doesn't look like a toilet bowl, it looks like a hurricane to me. It's still bad though, but what else can you do for a team called the Hurricanes.

I know I'm never gonna finish this league so I might as well post it here so if anyone is interested they can use it. I started to fabricate an island league of whichever sport. Each team is from an island (one per country, exception: USA) and they are named after history of the island while making sure that no professional league name carries over. 2 conferences (East and West) of 30 teams each will battle it out for the championships in London, England. 32 teams make the playoffs (top 16 from each conference). Here are the teams with the host cities ranked in order of population: East: Honshu Cranes - Tokyo, Japan Salsette Elepahnts - Mumbai, India Java Dragons/Komodos - Jakarta, Indonesia Taiwan Typhoons - Taipei, Taiwan Singapore Bats - Singapore, Singapore Luzon Vampires - Quezon City, Philippines Hainan Catfish - Haikou, China Madagascar Lemurs - Anatananarivo, Madagascar North Island Emus - Auckland, New Zealand Mombasa Cheetahs - Mombasa, Kenya Borneo Orangutans - Kuching, Malaysia Abu Dhabi Circuit - Abu Dhabi, UAE Sri Lanka Falls - Colombo, Sri Lanka Jeju (Wood)Peckers - Jeju City, South Korea New Guinea Cassowaries - Port Morseby, Papua New Guinea Tasmania Devils (as in Tasmanian devils) - Hobart, Australia Unguja Giraffes - Zanzibar City, Tanzania Vasilyevsky Island Ursas - Saint Petersburg, Russia Timor Crocs - Dili, East Timor Bahrain Bees - Manama, Bahrain Mauritius Dodos - Port Louis, Mauritius Réunion Imperials - Saint-Denis, France Tahiti Fletchers - Papeete, Tahiti Malé Tuna - Malé, Maldives Bhola Emperors - Bhola, Bangladesh Grande Terre Caledonians - Nouméa, New Caledonia Viti Levu Beetles - Nasinu, Fiji Phuket Flutters (butterflies) - Phuket, Thailand West: Long Island Moneymakers - New York City, NY, USA Great Britain Smog - London, England Cuba Hummingbirds - Havana, Cuba Ilha de Sao Luis Macaws - Sao Luis, Brazil Hispaniola Trogons - Port-au-Prince, Haiti Jamaica Tide - Kingston, Jamaica Sicily Eruption - Palermo, Italy IJsselmonde Ships - Rotterdam, Netherlands Zealand Atomics - Copenhagen, Denmark Ireland Clovers - Dublin, Ireland Majorca Spiders - Palma, Spain Puerto Rico Conquistadors - San Juan, Puerto Rico Oahu Tikis - Honolulu, HI, USA Barbados Tridents - Bridgetown, Barbados New Providence Explorers - Nassau, Bahamas Lagos Island Drillers - Lagos, Nigeria Bioko Apes - Malabo, Equitorial Guinea Crete Ice Gods - Heraklion, Greece Carmen Fishermen - Ciudad del Carmen, Mexico Curacao Cacti - Willemstad, Curacao Hisingen Flock (as in "of Ravens") - Gothenburg, Sweden Santiago Corsairs - Praia, Cape Verde Iceland Elves - Reykjavik, Iceland Madeira, Roosters (as in "of Barcelos) - Funchal, Portugal Newfoundland Hounds - St. John's, NL, Canada Cyprus Lionhearts - Limassol, Cyprus Isla Margarita Rabbits - Porlamar, Venezuela Trinidad Ibis - Chaguanas, Trinidad and Tobago Saint Lucia Pitons - Castries, Saint Lucia Djerba Lotus - Houmt-Souk, Tunisia

Yea this isn't the right place. This should be in its own thread. Not bad though. On HJC you can use whichever image as long as you cite the creator/source

Personally I don't see the point of a paint bucket project Yes, TRoy. That's why it's here and not in the concepts section. I'm rethinking my idea. Woah there sorry, for taking your idea literally.

NHL Anti-Thread: Bad Business Decision Aggregator
T-ROY replied to The_Admiral's topic in Sports In General
Regarding the Coyotes situation, the organization is making a complete ass of itself. The fact that the Coyotes are still in the NHL is absolutely shocking. The greedy bastards of the NHL and Arizona Coyotes are basically making money (barely) off of taxpayers money. If the city is in detriments because they have to keep your sorry excuse of a hockey team in Glendale, then you better not hit the door on your way out. Not one citizen of or even Arizona cares more about your crappy hockey team that's costing them who knows how much money more than the fire department who's job it is to SAVE LIVES. Screw you Anthony LeBlanc and screw you Gary Bettman. You guys can rot in a grave for all I care. I've never seen such a selfish exhibit in my life. The fact that you want hundreds of millions of dollars from the city of Glendale is absurdly disgraceful. You should be paying the city that much to pay back the citizens who never wanted you in the first place. Thank you for reading. -
forum questions Ask A Moderator

Not really a question, but I don't know where else to ask this. Shouldn't the signature and avatar threads be moved to the Requests sub-forum. They are really taking away from all the actual concepts and taking up unnecessary space in the sub-forum. I've had to block multiple people's signatures just due to how many images they have in them (like honestly, is it really necessary) and that one thread of the LED sign signatures just gives people the ability to slow people's computer's down (maybe not everyone, but those who have crappy computers like moi). Moving them to the Request sub-forum sends traffic to the barely visited sub-forum and it seems much more fitting since you are requesting a signature/avatar. I don't even get why people ask for those anyway. One of the things about these forums is to establish yourself as an individual, so create your own avatars and signatures. You get much more respect as an artist that way. -
I was thinking off doing a Canadian soccer league.

It's possible, stay tuned. @troy, glad you liked that KC logo. Had a little free time these past few days so I was able to come back to this thread for a bit. As always if anyone out there wants to take a shot at doing some or filling some requests, your more than welcome! I've been practicing, so hopefully you might see some coming from me...eventually...hopefully.

If I were to submit some logos to Chris through e-mail for the site, how should I send him the images? With images? (what file extension?) With sources? With images & sources? -
Looks like Colles or Armada I agree with walkerws. Looks like a modified bold version of Armada in my mind, due to its weight and thickness. But it looks pretty cool though. I saw it in a post-game interview in the Senators locker room and I just had to know what it was. Thanks BTW guys
