  1. I always thought those old Jaguars white pants would be perfect for the Ravens' current unis. Just switch the teal with purple and they'd be so much better than what the Ravens have now.
  2. Dallas Cowboys at Jacksonville Jaguars, September 10, 2006. Only time the Cowboys have won blue against the Jags and also the only time Dallas has played in Jacksonville during the regular season.
  3. I'm talking about modernizing that 80's set without being tempted to add black back in.
  4. If the Jets can somehow figure out how to modernize their 80's set without including black then I think they'd have a winner. Something along the lines of what the Vikings and Dolphins have done with their 2013 changes.
  5. I see your 90's photo and I raise you Ravens @ 49ers November 17, 1996
  6. 1998 was the last year of the Saints' gold numerals on their road whites. They switched to black numerals for 1999 and modernized the Fleur-de-lis in 2000.
  7. The Broncos have worn navy against the Saints only twice in the preseason ('98 & '01)...never in the regular season. August 14, 1998 Preseason Week 2
  8. Late 80's-early 90's Dolphins vs. current Cowboys road blues - October 27, 1996
  9. I love the sleeve and pant stripes design for Ball State's football uniforms. That would be a perfect design template for a new Arizona Cardinals rebrand imo. Good work.
  10. September 26, 2004 - Only time current Falcons and old Cardinals unis have met...
  11. Tennessee Titans as the Houston Oilers and New York Jets as the New York Titans
  12. San Antonio Admirals (Tribute to David Robinson) San Antonio Scorpions (Old NASL team...sounds badass) San Antonio Riders San Antonio Toros San Antonio Defenders (Gotta love Baseketball) San Antonio Amigos San Antonio Gunslingers (Old USFL team) San Antonio Frackers (Lots of oil drilling in South Texas) San Antonio Rattlers San Antonio Copperheads San Antonio Six Shooters
  13. Sunday, September 19, 2004 - Only time current Pats unis met the old Cardinals unis.
  14. I don't get why Nike can't figure out the correct shade of yellow for the Lakers. They created their original wishbone unis back in 1999, why can't they just replicate that same color? Mind boggling.
  15. You even got the volleyball post hole covers. Absolutely fantastic attention to detail.
  16. The Texas Longhorns have a slightly modified wordmark on their jerseys this year. Looks like the the font has been widened out a bit. Here's last year's jersey for comparison...
  17. Is there a way to see what it would look like with just the C Sword logo instead of the full shield?
  18. Block numbers are solid and will stand the test of time. A team can never go wrong with using block numbers.
  19. As a Titans fan, I would much rather have a toned-down, simplistic looking football uniform like the Jaguars have than the "sword costumes" the Titans just released. Simple, bold football uniforms stand the test of time (Raiders, Packers, Bears) and a team like Jacksonville that has had numerous uniform looks within the last 10 years could really benefit from having a solid, bold look for the foreseeable future. Sure, there are things you could tweek with their new unis but overall their look is starting to grow on me and I think it'll end up being one of the best looks in the NFL. We just have to wait and see how they look on the field first.
  20. A white sock with matching striping while wearing white jerseys is a style I wish more teams would go back to.
  21. "Just as the fin on the mighty dolphin helps to navigate the animal through the depths of the ocean, the fins on the new numbers represent the Dolphins navigating their way to the top of the NFL." - Nike
  22. I've never been a fan of number fonts that feature the downward slanted #2. The only team that can get away with it are the Bulls.
  23. When the Dallas Chaparrals moved to San Antonio in 1973, they were going to be named the "Gunslingers" but changed shortly after to the "Spurs". http://www.remembertheaba.com/San-Antonio-Spurs.html
