I agree. A number is a number. That's like people getting mad at Anthony Morrow wearing #1 for the Bulls (He swapped to 11, but originally chose 1).

Can the Moda Center be a viable for a NHL team? Portland rarely gets talked about for a possible NHL team, but with the Winterhawks playing games there & a solid hockey fanbase, it would be a good fit. Plus, Chris McGowan has NBA experience with his time in LA. 

This is why we can't have nice things . 

Also, I like the Redbirds set as much as everyone else.

For those wondering, Gallagher wore #73 until Micheal Ryder was traded back to the team, thus swapping to #11. So this is more of a wrong number situation, but still interesting.

That's  what frustrates  me. I enjoy unique hats  and logos, why shouldn't  I, a Canadian citizen in which a MLB team plays close by be able to buy MiLB  gear? I like wearing hats and people asking  me about them. But it feels like every Lids store out here sells the same bullcrap.

If i can get it shipped here, I may  buy one. That has been my issue. Most MiLB stuff wont ship to Canada for reasons I do not understand,  otherwise I'd  own at least 6 MiLB  hats.

Okay, this is a great look. These colours are what the Manitoba  Moose should be  wearing if they really wanted to stick with the double blue.

In regards to the Thrashers talk, they took Boris Valabik 10th overall. A stay at home 7th Defenceman who was more of a John Scott than a Zdeno Chara. I love brining him up cause he's  one of my favourite busts. 

Okay, the colour scheme is somewhat nice. I can give them that and only that.

There was tons wrong with the Wii versions of the last couple MLB/NBA 2K games. NBA 2K13 had some of the worst rosters ever, with some of the free agents on the right/wrong teams, players completely missing & 0 rookies even though they had the draft in the game for the My Player mode. It was a complete mess of a game.  

I can't find any pictures of it to back me up, but the Wii version of MLB 2K12 or 13 (can't remember which, it was my buddies copy of the game) had the Blue Jays playing in these odd mish-mash of the old & current jerseys, with Black being used instead of Blue with the current logo set. It looked terrible. I might find a copy of it just to show you guys. 

I actually think the Capitals jerseys are worse than the Avalanche. 

Wanna know what identity I wish would come back? The old Fresno Grizzlies look. The Teal, Brown, Orange & Yellow was beautiful and looked incredible. Much better than what they use now.

This... this describes Brandoise in a nut-shell. 

The shtick has rubbed off not because the logos aren't creative, but the fact everything is now formulaic. At 1st, the identities were unique enough to work, but that niche is gone. The fact that these "behind the scenes" looks at identities pulls up better looking stuff is what makes me sad as a fan of watching baseball no matter who is playing. 

Also: Does anyone know a way to get Minor-League baseball hats in Canada? I'm finding it near impossible. 

I never liked these jerseys nor understood why people love them:

1. The colours are very drab and the green bleeds into the black.

2. The logo doesn't even line up with the star pattern the jersey is using

3. The CCM cut was always baggy. These though make the cut look even baggier do the bottom and the pants blending into one another. 

4. The template isn't even original.... it was used for All-Star jerseys 1st. Copying a ASG template? Why? 

5. The number on the back actually bleeds into the striping. That's a huge no-no, IMO. It even happened with single digits. 

Need I go on? This whole jersey was a failure. Even the shoulder patch looks out of place with it having no gold in it unlike everything else with white also having a little gold. I was more than happy to see these go.

My Grade 12 year, to be honest.

He wasn't the only faculty sporting Leafs gear that day, heck... even I wore my Leafs hat to school.

On Fridays, we had Dressdown days for teachers in my school board (Jeans, hoodies, whatever the teacher likes), and technically he was a ECE (Early Childhood Educator) & it was when we had that playoff run in 2013. 

I got suspended for uttering something offensive to a member of authority. 

I've called out classmates for wearing fakes before.... many times. 

Once i even let my teacher know the Leafs jersey he was wearing was a counterfeit. I got suspended for it.
