Okay..... so did Chris do some more tinkering? I see a lot more blue, but fonts are now ineligible.

The reaction tab would be better if it had more options, IMO..... but @GeauxColonels is right. There's too much white.... I liked the little splashes of blue from the past template. This looks more empty.

Is it just me, or did the site get a minor update?

I've got an oddity that I just stumbled across. While looking for pictures of Sean Burke in the pre-silver Whalers jersey, I found out he sat out the 91-92 season due to to a contract dispute. In that time, he played for the Canadian International Team & the San Diego Gulls of the IHL:
Burke played in 7 games with 4-2-1 record & a 2.41 GAA.

That's actually a really nice alt. How did it only last one season?
Also, I got one.... Sean Burke might be best considered a journeyman goalie, but he played the longest for the Whalers. Here's him in the pre-silver era set:

Swing music is heavily arranged and not open to collective improvisation outside the rhythm section (I think you're thinking of the hot jazz or Dixieland jazz of the early 20th century), and if you're saying the team was named the Jazz with no regard to New Orleans being the birthplace of jazz, you're deluding yourself.
That's right, my bad.... I was thinking of Dixie. BTW, I don't know Jazz at all.... and that fact was from the Jazz's own website.

I get why people want it, but the name Utah Jazz doesn't bug me. It never has & I'm fine with the Pelicans being used as a name for New Orleans... as well as the Hornets being back in Charlotte now that the Bobcats name is gone. So there's no real reason to change. Also, Jazz wasn't even chosen for the Music by New Orleans, but rather it's definition: collective improvisation, a common theme in Swing Music (A type of jazz music) & BASKETBALL. Now that's a clever name.

How many lakes and trolleys are there in Los Angeles?
How many grizzly bears are there in Memphis?
And I can't wait to go to the jazz festival in Utah

This just got retweeted by Chris, figured I'd post the article here:

It's essentially a piece on Brandoise's hard on for gimmicky names.

I hate these uniforms & never got any love for them, even as a kid:
The colours don't work, the back of the purple jersey being black made no sense & to top it off.... the fact they KEPT the template and recoloured it in pissed me off as a fan. Their inaugural uniforms are still the best set the Raptors have ever worn as should be what they wear right now:
Try to tell me Lowry & DeRozan don't look good in PURPLE.

Gwinnet Buttons should be the only choice. If they go with another name, someone should find a Brandoise member and punch the ever living daylights out of him.
-
I personally like the 16th flag. The red & blue intertwining & the single star on a white backround looks sharp.
-
How..... what.... why..... I am so confused.

Iggy is fine in a Sixers uniform. Peja's time as a Raptor is one I'll never forget given we trade away Jarrett Jack of all people for him. He then got waived, signed with the Mavs... and got a ring.
These are their true wrong jerseys:
And here's a Bonus one that I bet people forgot about:
Figured it fits in nicely, with how Peja & Artest were traded for one another (I refuse to call him by MWP).

Here's the Flag of Oshawa. I find it to be pretty & the colours look good.

The jersey being worn by Carter there looks pretty good, and I didn't otherwise care for that set.
As far as Peja goes, are you talking about him wearing the baby blue set as a throwback? He might have done that, but he was definitely not in the NBA during the 1980s.
Oh, I know. He came over during the 98-99 season. It might have been a throwback night.

Carter in the Red Raptors Set. Originally unveiled as an alternate, I believe Carter wore this jersey for 1 year.
As for one that I found interesting..... how about Mark Recchi, John Leclair & Eric Lindros:
I don't think any of these guys wore this jersey during their time with the Flyers, yet here they are sporting it in the 2012 Alumni Winter Classic Game.
P.S. Now, can someone correct me if I'm wrong..... but didn't Peja Stojakovic wear the Powder Blue Kings set? I can't find any pics of this, but I swear he did for one year or preseason.... if someone can help me find a picture, it'd be much appreciated.

Hours after hitting the Blues, he attacks ESPN.

The Canes logo is stolen too. Can't remember who, but I've seen it on Icethetics.

I know I'm missing something, but what exactly is different about the patches?
There's an extra notch in the foot.

Rare image of Raptors play-by-play man Leo Rautins as an Atlanta Hawk. He played a total of 4 games for them.

I've been trying to find screenshots of MLB 2K12 for the Wii of the Blue Jays uniforms. But I've had no luck.

When the Jazz moved to Utah, why didn't they just use the Stars name again?

P.K. is going to be a great analyst once he retires. He's smart, funny & charismatic.

The site is really starting to come together under the new template..... I like it.
However, I've been getting a 404 almost every other page on here today.... and I have 0 idea why.
