  1. The Knicks went 181-348* in the rest of their jerseys, so a losing record shouldn't deter them. *As of 04/27/2021
  2. It's gonna have "NYC" in blue with white trim and then a thin black outline on the front, with a blue skyline above the wordmark, with thin black/white/blue/white/thin black stripes down the sides. This half-shoulder trim was ahead of it's time.
  3. But the current commissioner was the deputy back then.
  4. Give the Jazz gold number outlines(and replace the copper with green), make the number outline on the Heat light blue, and you got winners.
  5. But the name Red? Used within the context of the team color? This horse is already on its way to the grave, but I think the word Red can stay.
  6. The name is part of the franchise’s history. They were the Reds***s for 80+ years. They won Super Bowls, not as the Washington [insert name], but as the Washington Red****s.
  7. If their name was the Washington Demon Cats of Blue, they’d still be called “Reds**ns” by some fans. It’s not going away anytime soon, so keeping Red in the name seem more like an acknowledgment of history that a generic cop-out.
  8. Native imagery? No. “Red”? Why not? The color red by itself has nothing to do with Native Americans unless referring to their skin tone. Since this is clearly not the case anymore, and they are trying to remove that connection, why can’t they be named after the color they wear(and have worn for 90% of their history)?
  9. I completely agree with you, but let’s play devil’s advocate for a moment. The counter argument that I’ve seen on these boards(and that will inevitably come up again) is “We need to erase all connections to the past name.” While I understand that, people are going to still call them “Reds***s” no matter the name. Also, it’s etched into history. They won Super Bowls as it. Why not combine the nickname they earned during one of the best periods in franchise history, and the color that they wear that harkens back to the old name, while still moving forward?
  10. Put the Warriors’ bridge inside the 49ers’ football/oval thing, then add the A’s “A” where the 49 is.
  11. You could just paint it or replace the face mask...it’s the same helmet...no need to treat it like 2010 LBJ jerseys....
  12. I wish they would wear [gray facemask] with the [white helmets]. It would look great.
  13. The Buccaneers’ logo is dumb?
  14. Why do those teams want win all those regular season games? To make the playoffs. Why do they want to make the playoffs? So they can have a chance to be named the best at their sport, no matter how they play in the regular season. The 72-10 Bulls are still considered the best NBA team in history, even though the 73-9 Warriors won more games. Why? Because when it mattered most, Jordan was able to win one more game, and Curry was not. The 2007 New York Giants are the best team that year, because they beat an undefeated team in the biggest game of the year.
  15. Something like this... *self-plug warning*
  16. 5 colors (light blue, navy, orange, yellow, white), the “sunset” subliminal pattern, and the indigenous-themed “OKC” from the 18-19 City could all make for a pretty nice uniform
  17. This. The perfect blend of past and present. Get a modernized logo and they should be set for the next 20 years.
  18. 2. Bucks 3. Nuggets 4. Rockets 5. Jazz 6. Nets 7. Hawks
  19. They just changed it in 2018! 3 YEARS AGO!! This franchise can only get it right when LeBron's around, basketball-wise and uniforms.
