Fun fact: the only NBA teams to never wear a black jersey are the Indiana Pacers and New Orleans Pelicans.

Native American imagery is kinda a no-no these days, I doubt OKC would be able to get away with this.

Golden State gets the benefit of doubt because by the 1970’s they dropped the Native American imagery and started marketing their iconic landmarks. They became the Golden State Warriors, not the Golden State Warriors. Washington just didn’t care enough to attempt to change it, and in a league where teams change iconic looks for the sake of change, it’s disappointing that the team that needed to change the most didn’t. If they went by Warriors in 1985 of something like that, we wouldn’t be having this discussion.

That’s on all of Nike’s consumer jerseys. The trim is likely not changing unless a template changes.

So is the 49ers 75th logo. Diamonds are synonymous with 75 for whatever reason.

Teams don’t have to wear those alternates, though. Both the Ravens and Packers have Color Rush jerseys that they didn’t wear last season, but wore the season prior.

I would say the same, but something seems off about #5. Maybe it’s unbalanced with the amount of gold. Maybe if they had powder pants and gold socks it would look better.

They can wear them up to 3 times, right? So that’s five more games of bone, and then the bone jersey can be burned for good.

They should stop, think, and realize that they don’t need a second helmet. Focus that energy on making purple socks and putting stripes on the black pants.
