Follow-up to this post, we found a game pic one of those two 1992-93 games; this is the March 25, 1993 game between the Suns and Bucks. IMO, this is how this year's NBA Finals should look.

The Atlanta Hawks introduced new uniforms for the 2007-08 season. It was also the last season for the Seattle Supersonics, so this does qualify for this thread.

 - Video of a one-season only matchup: In 1983, the first year of the Seahawks tweaked uniforms used until 2001, they met the orange-pants Browns for the only time.

 - Another video: The first season of the "big Flying Elvis on shoulders" Patriots met the 1986-95 Saints Dome Patrol era uniforms (their final season in them) for the only time in 1995.

In the last two seasons of Tom Wilkinson's career, the Edmonton CFL team slightly changed up their uniform, adding an extra stripe and superimposing the EE monogram on the sleeves, and changing the facemasks to white. This is more of his uniform:

Notice the differences, despite the lower photo being in black and white?

I can't believe we haven't mentioned this, possibly because it's WAAAY back, but the 1974 Philadelphia Eagles (first year of that uniform set worn until 1984, and first with those green helmets) met the New York Giants classic "NY" style twice (because they're in the same division); it was the last year of that look for the Giants.

- It may be video, but check out Dave Concepcion, in his last playing year of 1988, wearing the tweaked version of the Reds' double-knit pullover jersey/beltless pants combo (with the stripes down the pants, white outlines on the graphics, and three stripes, not two, on the sleeve cuffs) - and pulling a Lou Pinella in this video!

One of the most talked about players in New York Mets history, Mookie Wilson, played the first two and a half seasons of his career in the first iteration of the Mets' pullover jerseys; he'll always be associated with the racing stripe uniforms that followed this set.

The Baseball Network actually lasted two seasons, 1994 and 1995.

The amazing Neil Smith, who played for three out of the four AFC West teams (best known for his tenure with the Kansas City Chiefs, but he won two Super Bowl rings with the Denver Broncos), finished out his career playing in a SINGLE game for the San Diego Chargers in 2000.

I wish MLB had interleague play in the 1980s. We would have seen some cool looking uniform matchups, like this one:

 - In 1987, a by then 41-year old Tom Seaver attempted a short-lived comeback with a Mets, and here is a VERY odd sight (more odder than him in the "home" racing stripe Mets uniforms of the 1980s) - the one-year 1987 "New York" script road uniform.

 - From last year. Qualifies since the Bucs have "gone back to the future" with their look this year.

 - So have the Cleveland Browns, and this 2018 matchup is the only time the new Detroit Lions (introduced in 2017) met the CLEVELAND set.

Dwight Gooden was the last remaining link from the 1986 World Series champion Mets to leave the team, and he played there long enough to play in their "swoosh-tail" uniform set of 1993/94.

Dwight Gooden's last year, 2000, was split between three teams. I've posted his time as an Astro (in their then-new uniforms introduced that seasoN), and here is his second stopover on the year, with the then-three year old Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

While we're on the subject of the CFL, here is Tom Clements, after three seasons in Ottawa to start his pro career in his short stopover in Saskatchewan in 1979.

Mark Gastineau, a stranger in a strange land who attempted a short-lived comeback with the CFL's BC Lions in 1990.

 - Another video: From 1992, the last year of the Reds' beltless trousers/pullover jersey combo with the first year of that Expos set.

I'm not a fan of laces on modern hockey jerseys. It may have looked good circa 1972, but not so much now, given how advanced the materials are now.

I think a good alternative for football helmets for flag football would be baseball caps.
