The 2015 Browns set met the 2013-17 Jaguars set just once, in 2017.

^ They met again in 1986, but the Chargers had made the numbers on the navy jerseys white by then.

Mike Schmidt's last season, 1989, was the first year since 1972 that the Phillies had a gray road uniform.

The Tennessee Oilers met the modernized 1997-2012 Miami Dolphins set just once, in 1997.

With the Jets changing over next year, this season (2018) was the lone meeting between the Lions' 2017 getup and the Jets 1998-2018 look.

The Atlanta Falcons' Mike Kenn, offensive tackle extraordinaire, while playing his whole career with the Falcons, spent the final final five seasons of his career in the "Falcons in Black" set. He's more associated with the red helmets/jerseys era of the 1970s/80s.

I actually like the 1970-2016 Toronto Maple Leafs logo (especially the 1970-92 jerseys) for its simplistic and modern design.

Going north of the border yet again, this is Tom Scott, who started his career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, then was traded for the rights to receiver Joe Poplwaski to the Edmonton Eskimos, where he spent his best years (appearing in all five of the Esks' Grey Cup wins from 1978 to 1982), finishing out his career as a Calgary Stampeder in 1984.

Going a bit further back on this one: Before Troy Aikman suited up for the Cowboys, or even the UCLA Bruins, his collegeiate career started at Oklahoma. Jamelle Holieway took over after he got injured, and that would ultimately pave the way to Aikman's arrival to UCLA.

It's hard to believe, but Tampa Bay fullback Mike Alstott spent his rookie campaign in the last year of the Bucs' creamsicle uniform set.

He was one of the biggest faces of the 1980s Los Angeles Rams teams, but here is Leroy Irvin as a Detroit Lion in his final season in 1990.

Bruce Matthews was the face of the Houston Oilers, and followed them to Tennessee; he spent the last three seasons of his career as a Tennessee Titan; so this is the right team, but wrong uniform, and wrong team name too.

I agree. The white outline (plus the sleeve trim) on that Dodger road set (worn from 1977-98) really made it pop. W/O those two elements (which is what their road jersey now looks like, or at least their alternate), it looks too much like their home jerseys.

I don't know where this goes, but this is Adrian Beltre in his rookie year with the Dodgers in 1998, the last year the Dodgers wore this particular road uniform set. It needs to be brought back, IMO.

I wish that racing stripes would make a comeback in baseball.

The two-time Super Bowl champion Dallas Cowboys defensive end Jim Jeffcoat played for the Buffalo Bills for the last three seasons of his career.

I just wanted to make sure I understood what you meant.

I was clarifying that the Oilers wore white-on-white only in their last season under that name in 1998. Sorry for the confusion. It's too bad, those blue jerseys were beauties.

The white-on-white combo was the only set worn by the Tennessee Oilers in their lame-duck season under that name in 1998.
