I think it's to force US Soccer to combine them with the NWSL. With how poor some of the facilities are for the Super League I don't see US Soccer just agreeing to that. Are they counting on USWNT players to choose playing on the same schedule as Europe to bring them over? Because that's not a good enough reason to switch to the league either.

The league itself seems to be more focused on butts in front of TV screens instead of at the ball game, for this year. I think they will change that view if in Year 3 we're still looking at below 10,000 seats at any stadium in the league.

I also think that next year has to be deciding point for moving teams, not this year. Detroit is a strange situation because I've never seen a venue seem to not care about the team that's playing there. From the lateness of selling season and then single game tickets, to reports that the city is happy to let them leave.

I think they want to keep the team as close to the center of Detroit as possible because they don't see this as viable. Unless they did research that says a move here will be worth the loss of access to Detroit is worth the cost, they probably won't consider either of these.

From @Clintau24, that Notre Dame jersey is likely the same template Maryland is wearing at their spring game. I feel that they should have the golden dome or the shamrock at the neck instead of the UA logo, it would just look better.

I hope they can fix that next year. I think they still look fine, but they needed to match the original colors better. I'm hoping this was only a "hurry up we're running out of time" thing.

Championship game logo released. The U.S. Army logo looks a bit low. Hopefully there's a version for the home team jerseys that has trim around the trophy and the lettering instead of a rectangular patch for both teams.

Pat McAfee debuted the Concafa FC jersey yesterday. It's just a standard Nike teamwear jersey, Also, extra points deducted for tucking in the shirt with dress pants. 

Pochettino out at Chelsea! It's a little bit of a surprise based on how they ended the season, but after you had players getting into a fight over taking penalty kicks, I'm not completely surprised.

Apex One folded in August 1994? I think you meant 1995? The Pats wore the 1994 Apex One jerseys for the 1995 preseason before debuting the new 1995 jerseys against Cleveland in Week 1. 

 

And which Maryland jerseys did Apex One design? 

I think they made Maryland's basketball uniforms. Champion made the football uniforms in 1994 and 1995. Apex One also gave us these, so it's sad to see them gone.

I'm happy with anyone that's willing to promote the league, and not act like he's the end all be all of YouTubers. He is quoting teh UFL Board, per some of the Redditt traffic I have seen today. He does have issues pronouncing names properly, though and that can be a little off-putting at times. The Roughnecks moving back to TDECU isn't much of a surprise, it was already planned. But if the league moves the Panthers to U of M, they better promote the hell out of the games and they'll probably be handing out a lot of free tickets to try to get the stands filled in. It's not like a modern NFL stadium, or even the Alamodome, where you can curtain off portions of the stadium since it doesn't have multiple levels of seating like others. The end zones will also likely be empty just like Ford Field. Rynearson is a 44 minute drive from Ford Field and fits a smaller spring league. The biggest issue there is if the league moved up to a first weekend in March start. Yes, the field is grey, but I think it's more important to be somewhere that wants you there, and Ford Field and the Lions seem to have treated the Panthers as an inconvenience rather than a tenant that would get them more money as a result of the UFL season.

I'm not really surprised too much by that Brahmas/Renegades number. I figured that it'd get lower numbers. One issue I have in San Antonio, with the ABC channel anyways, is that on Sunday mornings local programming supersedes league programming until 12 PM. This isn't an issue for the NFL, because ABC doesn't have Sunday morning games, but I'm surprised that ABC/ESPN didn't say they needed the entire window. At least the games are available on ESPN+ so you can watch the start there if you have it. 

This needs to be fixed next year, regardless.

Hopefully a few continue the trend of plain backs, that would limit some of the horribleness of this design. 

San Antonio will be hosting a "Yellow Out" and wearing their away uniforms for the game against Birmingham. Hopefully Birmingham is wearing their home uniforms in response. Otherwise it could be a little bit blinding for some fans. 

The Brahmas will be wearing their away jerseys this coming week vs Birmingham. They are also telling everyone to wear yellow to the game as well, and offering a ticket package that included a yellow t-shirt and rally towel:

Unless they say they intend to be at the level of the NFL, and no one in this league or its two progenitors have said that's the intended goal. In fact, both Moose and the Rock are swearing by the idea that this league is about getting players another shot at the NFL. For now, the ratings are doing well enough that the attendance isn't a factor in the league going forward. If we're 5-6 years in and that hasn't changed, then there is an issue that needs to be addressed.

Two to three logos were the most they allowed. After that, they need to allow uniforms that are more than just a few generic designs. Especially with how much more power the new consoles have.

After seeing Man United's change shirt, I don't know how any team went with colors that are even a tiny bit off from the rest of the uniform design.

It's not as noticeable from the front, at least when it's laid out flat.

I think part of the problem is how limited they are in their ability to create items outside of the game day apparel. At least they're going with a "local" manufacturer. 

FC St. Pauli's 2024-2025 home shirt has been released. They are moving to Puma after making their kit in-house.

Lyon women wore next year's kit. Unfortunately those shorts are going to ruin a lot of adidas uniforms next year.
