Again though, BC is also a private, Catholic institution, so they would fit in the Big East as far as being similar to the other schools. They'd also make for a nice travel partner for Providence.

UConn is a flagship state school. That doesn't fit in the BE.

The fact they're public shouldn't preclude them from the Big East. If they aren't a fit it should. UConn may be larger but the amount of money their mens and womens basketball teams would bring back to the conference would be enough to bring them back. That is the ultimate goal of a move like that.

The Big East, though, is exclusively private institutions, and all but one of them (Butler) are Catholic. UConn as an institution doesn't fit in the Big East. The problem is, they have no other real good home except the AAC, unless it's maybe the ACC.

They're otherwise too big and would never sign off on the A-10, CAA, or some other regional conference that fits.

It would probably work if Boston College went back as well. I don't think the ACC really helped BC at all except for maintaining a rivalry with Notre Dame and Pitt, outside of the money they are making they always seem to be in the middle to the back of the pack.

  3. Greg McElroy was spouting off this morning that UConn should try to get back in the Big East. His rationale being that they aren't getting much out of football in the American, so why not go back? Football is the only sport that would be possibly hurt unless someone took them on as a football only school. The only league that would probably do that is Conference USA and I can't see them signing off on that. They could also go independent and schedule teams around the same level as UMass and Army.

Spanish announcers are usually awesome to listen to anyways, even if you can’t understand what they’re saying.

And you can always hit the SAP button to get an English feed if you don't go through YouTube, unless they blocked it.

I knew that part, but I thought Thanksgiving weekend was the end of college football so it was all clear. I don't follow college football.

Technically, Armyvs Navy is the last game of the year and is now played the week after conference championships. I think CBS did this so they wouldn't have issues with the SEC Championship being delayed, or Army and Navy specifically decided they want a day to themselves.

  6. With some of these HBCUs facing cost cuttign measures I could see a few making the move to other conferences. In Division II, Central State (OH) currently plays in a HBCU conference that has most of it's teams in Alabama, Mississippi and southern Tennessee. The irony is that they left the GMAC three years ago because their best sport, football, didn't have enough teams to get an automatic playoff berth. This year they had 8 teams for the first time and an automatic berth.

Hard to beat the U-S-of-A for preexisting infrastructure on short notice. Just let us do the whole thing in 2022 and give up on the NAFTA World Cup.

From a competitive standpoint, if I'm understanding this correctly, it would be good to give the automatic spot to the United States and open up another spot for a team to earn their way in, rather than the United States earning theirs and Qatar getting in for free to do :censored:-all with it.

I think the USA is the default throwback, kinda like Indianapolis is the NCAA Final Four emergency location when they aren't hosting. I could see FIFA treating Australia as runner-up if USA-CAN-MEX is approved before then.

Okay I shelled out the $69... ($90 Canadian!!) for sports templates hockey template...  No complaints.  Any issues, are probably due to my inexperience with photoshop...

To anybody who has been using this template:  How do you get logos to be opaque??!! No matter what I do in placing them the mesh from the jersey comes through!! Making the jerseys look cheap, like the crests are screened on instead of proper embroidery!  My son is an animator for Disney, he's very good at photoshop, and he couldn't even figure it out!!

Is there anyway to fix this?

You may need to place them a layer above and then use warp and distort to match it to the angle the model is facing.

Looking for NBA uniform template for Illustrator.

Preferably would have all the different collar options with the template as well.

    Search for adidas basketball uniforms.
