Niiklaz
1928 The league kept on growing and a new team was to be added. Aarhus IF was presented as the new team and now all the countries had at least two teams, except for Iceland. Aarhus was going to play in blue and red.New for the 1928/1929 season: Stockholm added stripes to their socks. Helsinki got an away kit, which they needed in their away games against Bergen.1928/1929 - ResultsTop scorer: Mikko Korhonen, Helsinki, 12 goals Last season, the fight for the league title was a close one. This season, it was even closer with three teams fighting for the league title. In the end the winner, Helsinki, won on goal difference. It was Helsinki´s third Nordic Premier League title which meant that they now had the most League titles out of all the teams. Both last years winner, Malmö, and Stockholm which had jumped up and down the league table for the last couple of years both impressed this season and were both very close to steal the title from Helsinki. Their fans now mostly hoped for more consistency from their Swedish teams. The newest addition to the Nordic Premier League, Aarhus, stood for a mediocre first season with 24 Points, giving them 7th Place. It wasn´t a terrible season though and their fans were optimistic, looking forward to next season were they had they had the chance to improve. Another exciting season and the Nordic Premier League now showed anyone still doubting that the league was definately here to stay.

Niiklaz
1929 A new season with new hopes and expectations. Would Helsinki keep up their perfomance this season as well and grab another title or would there be a new, unexpected winner ? These were the main subjects before the season as there were no other major news such as another expansion.New for the 1929/1930 season: Helsinki added a logo to their away jersey. København added a stripe to their socks.1929/1930 - ResultsTop scorer: Alfred Karlsson, Helsinki, 24 goals Last season, Helsinki won on goal difference, this year they took a big step in the right direction and won by 9 points. With very impressive play from start to finish, combined with their previous success, Helsinki started to attract a lot of people to their games. A small group started wearing white jerseys to show everyone what team they were supporting. This group of people started calling themselves "Helsinkikansa", finnish for "Helsinkination". Except for Helsinki´s dominance, the fight for the top 4 was a pretty even one with only one point between each team from 2nd to 4th place. From a palish debut season, Aarhus stepped up their game and showed everyone that they deserve to be in this league and got got an impressive 2nd place. Norway´s representatives had a rough season, ending up in 10th and 9th place. The danish teams however, played well and placed 2nd and 4th. After this season one question remained; will any team be able to stop Helsinki´s dominance? if yes, then who? Would it be one of the promising danish teams, the old powerhouse Reykjavík or maybe even a completely new team?

Niiklaz
1930 This was the year when ten teams became eleven as Tampere JK join the Nordic Premier League. There were now three finnish teams in the League. With Helsinkis latest success people were excited to see what another finnish team could accomplish. Tampere would play in blue and black with horizontal lines.New for the 1930/1931 season: Helsinki changed their socks and added some blue. Oslo added logos to their jerseys and changed color on their cuffs.1930/1920 - ResultsTop scorer: Aarni Kivimäki, Espoo, 34 The question before the season was; If possible, who´s going to beat Helsinki? Helsinki played well and had their eyes on yet another league title. One of the teams to take up the fight was København and they sure did. With fantastic offensive play, racking up 70 goals, København managed to steal the title from Helsinki. Noticable at the end of this season was Göteborg who stood for another good season. They gave the Swedish fans hope as a lot of people saw them as a future contestant for the league title. The newcomers, Tampere, like most new teams before them, had a tough time settling in their new league. Not terrible but definately not something to brag about. By this point, there weren´t really any boubt that the Nordic Premier League was on it´s way on becoming the major soccer League in the Nordic. The older, national leagues felt threatened as they lost both fans and teams to another league.

Niiklaz
1936 The last five seasons had been dominated by by the Swedish and the finnish teams. Malmö had won two years in a row, followed by Göteborg´s first ever league title, followed by Helsinki who managed to win their fith league title after having a bit of a struggle since their previous title. Last years winner was Espoo, who had been climbing the ranks for the last couple of season before winning their first ever league title. The league, which had remained at eleven teams for five years, finally expanded further. They announced Vantaa FC from Finland and FC Stavanger from Norway. Would this lead to more finnish league titles or finally a norwegian team winning? The Nordic Premier League was about to start up a new season for the 17th time and since the league had grown so big, the board thought it was time to update the logo. The logo remained the same but now had better quality. Vantaa would play in green, orange and white colors. This was a quite unique color combination and people liked the modern look. Stavanger vould play in grey, black and white with two stripes on the left side of the jersey. New for the 1936/1937 season: Malmö now had an away kit.1936/1936 - ResultsTop scorer: Miikka Miemi, Helsinki, 31 The fight for the league title was a close one with 2 teams having the chance until the very end. While Helsinki was suprisingly at the bottom of the table, the two finnish sides Espoo and Vantaa fought for the title. Espoo won that close fight which meant that the won the league title back to back. The league had now had Three finnish Winners in the last three years, but finnish teams weren´t the only teams dominating. For the last ten years, nine of the winners had been either swedish or finnish. The new teams did well, especially Vantaa who almost won the league title in their very first try. The new expansion had great success and the popularity of the league grew even more. The Nordic Premier League was the major league in the Nordic. The board went out and announced that they dind´t want to stop at this point. The league was about to grow even more.
Niiklaz
1937 Last season the League got expanded by a finnish and a norwegian team. This season another Swedish team got the honor of playing in the Nordic Premier League, and not just any team.. Upsala FF! Uppsala is the oldest still existing team in Sweden, founded back in 1998 by a few students at Uppsala University. The word cognito is displayed on their logo to show their roots in the academic World. The club had stayed in the domestic league far longer than expected and no one really knew why. That didn´t matter now as people were more interested in seeing how they would perform. The Nordic Premier League now consisted of 14 teams; 4 from Sweden, 4 from Finland, 3 from Norway, 2 from Denmark and 1 from Iceland. Uppsala would play in simple but stylish black and White.1937/1938 - ResultsTop scorer: Svein Nilsen, Stavanger, 34 The League title had been claimed by a finnish team for the last Three years and this season was no different. Helsinki got back to their usual winning days after spending two season in the bottom half of the table. With impressive 54 points they were 8 points up before second place Vantaa, who got just one Ppoint more than Tampere. With the top three teams being finnish, they really showed their talent and it was now a fact that the Nordic Premier League was dominated by Finland at the moment. The Swedish teams on the other hand that had, together with with the finnish teams, fought for the league title the last couple of years all had a bad season and all the swedish teams ended up in the bottom half of the table. Three of the bottom four teams were Swedish and thisd was something that had to change soon. The much expected Uppsala didn´t impress that much and ended up in 13th place. Noteworthy is Stavanger´s Svein Nielsen who scored 34 goals this season, a new record.
