And even so, the more we learn about the dangers of the sport, the more people will recognize it for what it is.

Calling it child abuse you certainly are in the “small minority.” Yes there are plenty of parents who won’t allow their children to play until they start high school, but only the smallest parts of the population equate playing football to child abuse especially with how big pop warner still is. Will pop Warner get smaller in the near future due to the increased awareness of CTE? Probably. But you still won’t hear a call for it’s termination under the veil of “child abuse” for generations
