So for a team like the Chargers w/ their prominent thunderbolt logo, I thought this was the perfect canvas to experiment around with this idea. WSU151 Posted March 22, 2021 Share Posted March 22, 2021 Navy numbers on a navy jersey would have legibility issues from distance. I'd make the numbers yellow, but it might look like Kent State. The Marlins' black numbers on black jerseys aren't great, and the Lightning's black-on-black looks bad, as does the Leafs' RR blue-on-blue numbers. The helmet's pretty awesome though. Drop the white helmet completely, it's not needed. Second, make all the numbers and bolts white with gold outlines on the home uniform, reminiscent of their former navy looks.
