I think there's going to come a point when the drop in womens' race times is going to level out, just because genetically, women just aren't built for that sort of thing. Human speed can't just keep increasing in a linear fashion forever. Eventually it will plateau. If those scientists continued with the graph they are using, the thing would show that eventually people would be running the 100m in 1 second. Just not going to happen.
