JamesCraven
Clemson will not go bowling because of their brawl with South Carolina Saturday (11/20/04). Discuss. "I better go take a long walk off a short pier or something."Some people on this bolard have told me to do just that.My "Ron Mexico" alias is "Jon Tobago". yh
I'm wondering if they had to obtain ACC permission to make that call. Since the conferences from which the schools come from and not the schools themselves get the bowl money (and then split it up among the conference schools), it would seem to me that Clemson can't necessarily make a unilateral decision regarding their postseason fate. jrh31584
From what I am hearing, the ACC would have prevented Clemson from attending a bowl, but the SEC wouldn't have done the same to South Carolina.
DEAD!
All I got to say is Bravo this shows that these coaches Holtz and Bowden have class and integrity It isn't just the coachs, the athletic directors have also decided on this ruling, forgoing a good sum of money for the universities. I applaud them for that. I saw, I came, I left.
