slapshot
They're not the same DVDs. The "World Series 2004" DVD is made by Major League Baseball, and pretty much just covers the playoffs. "Faith Rewarded" is made by NESN, the official cable TV network of the Red Sox. It covers the entire season, playoffs included. NJTank
Its stunning a DVD does not have closed captoning I mean it looks like it would be fairly easy to do and as much as they charge they should make the effort. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

You'd be surprised how many out there don't have CC (no not me) --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram

"World Series 2004" DVD has only all the playoffs until the WS... OK...Is it worth of a purchase? You see, "Faith Rewarded" shows only the best showtimes of each stage of the playoffs.NJTank and CC97, all the Hollywood movies always have closed captions. Against them I never had any complaint. My complaint is against alots of sport documentaries. Rarely the guys bothered themselves to put CC in the docs. And how to gain the deaf share of the market??? Teach them marketing!I have Ken Burn's "Baseball" and some "When It Was A Game", fortunately with CC. Only those DVDs!Besides I have few baseball DVDs w/o CC but I replace the voices that I hardly hear by my memory (thanks to years and years of reading baseball books).bucfan56, yes, but the DVD isn't based in that book. In March I'll have that book, some friends said me that that book is really interesting and terrorific.
