I don't think the Prolog I have has a pic from the first '89 game. I do remember them wearing white pants at home against the Steelers in the Monsoon Bowl that November...that was a fun game since there was like six inches of rain on the field! When Jimmy Johnson was the coach, I think they usually did the white jersey/aqua pants home and away, with some exceptions. I don't know how they're gonna fit the orange alts into the schedule.I know you all hate them, but they're a huge hit in Miami and it looks like they'll be around for a while.It's a new coach, so maybe he'll be different. Blue Falcon Posted February 13, 2008 Author Share Posted February 13, 2008 I've finally found conclusive proof that the Dolphins introduced the aqua pants in 1989, and not 1990. Using newspaperarchive.com, I located pictures that proved the Fins wore the aqua pants/white jersey combo for the first four games of 1989 only...and then dropped them until the beginning of the 1990 season.
