uniguy22
I decided to bring back the jays old font, use a traditional bird and incorporate a baseball. Just an idea I had. C&C please.Jays Logo
Jezus_Ghoti
I like the return of the old font, but pretty much everyone on this board will tell you that photo-realism and sports logos don't mix.
jkrdevil
Well if this was converted to "logo form" It wouldn't work. It's too close to the division rival Orioles logo.
rmackman
I have a pet bird and it craps on everything. It craps every 5 minutes. If you wan to make that logo more real, the bird must have crap somewhere on that logo cuz that's all they do! "Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be eaten. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you'd better be running." - Unknown | Check out my articles on jerseys at Bacon Sports
quantum
I agree that you should stay away from photo-realistic logos. "One of my concerns is shysters show up and take advantage of people's good will and generosity".
TurnTwo
Not very good at all. "I must be butter, because I'm on a roll."Turn Two Design // Facebook
DomainMaster
Seems pretty good to me. Yes, orioles and blue jays are, in fact, birds and that makes them look a bit alike, but I don't see why they should shy away from this type of thing just because the O's are using a realistic bird. Plus, anything is better than what they have now.
VitaminD
The cost and time needed to replicate that onto T-shirts, patches, hats and jerseys would be staggering. Take away a lot of the detail on the bird, and I'll give it a maybe. For now, a little too real, if you get me. "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.

Whenever the Jays try something it's considered copying other teams, like when they wore a T on their cap for one season. --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram
