Ok, here is another possible tennant for the Sprint Center in Kansas City.

first a few things.....

1. I know its the Royals away font. Get over it.

2. I realize they would most likely change their name, thats not the point.

3. The Honeycomb logo is versitle. ^_^

So here are The Kansas City Hornets

I just can't get over that Royals' font... :D

Seriously, they work - to a point. And I say this with the concession that the team would most likely dump the name AND the color scheme if they moved out of New Orleans. But those colors don't make me think of the "Capital of the Heartland". They make me think Mardi Gras. And I am not a fan of the yellow alt, regardless of where they're wearing them.

But the concept is done very faithfully. I like the wordmarks and the alternate logo, though I don't understand it (I've yet to make it to KC).

"Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."

In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.

1. The script is the royals old font, but i can get over that.

2. I highly doubt they would still be the Hornets. Id try something original like the royals.

3. I dont know if id use the honeycomb logo, it its not very versitile.
