dpnation Posted September 10, 2005 Share Posted September 10, 2005 The 'Nova unis are a bit plain, but they look classic because they are simple. I figure they could be worse! I love the logo and the wordmark and color scheme.. they just look classy compared to most schools. I'm a Virginia girl myself.. gotta love the wahoos. But speaking of awful hoops uniforms, UVA's take the cake (at least for the last couple years). That's hard for me to admit but true. Love all the other sports uni's, esp football. One of the ones I have been picking on only because they're local and I have been following the team for a while, is San Diego State. All black home uniforms? Why not white pants? Add a thick red stripe, and thin black stripes with the geometric design in gold like they have on their necks and sleeves. I also don't like the numbers. remind me a lot of the Avalanche in the NHL. Lastly and most agregious...the airbrushed helmets. YUCK. Use all red, use whatever logo you want, but leave the black airbrushing out. -DanielCheck Out My Podcast!
