Nesi427
I don't know if this was posted already, it's the logo for the new Mets TV channel. I think they should have called it the MES network...lol FANTASY SPORTS: UBA (NBA): New York Scrapers | CL (MLB): St Pete Beach Clippers
nym1231
There is a reason behind the name...Comcast is running the network and all their regional networks include the name "SportsNet", so to be original, they just added New York to it. Jigga
I think they should have called it the MES network...lol It would certainly describe the state of the franchise...(yes, the O's are more of a mess, but that's not the point ) On January 16, 2013 at 3:49 PM, NJTank said: Btw this is old hat for Notre Dame. I'm guessing theyre trying to make it so other teams or programming jump on board during the Mets off-season.I myself like both the name and the logo. Wouldn't shock me if they pick up one of the hockey teams on FSNY...my money would be on the Isles going to SNY...it'd make sense too (beats having games getting bumped to Metro or 55 b/c of the other team having a game). Gamingboy
Okay, we have:YES - YankeesNESN- Red SoxMASN- Nationals and, once the lawsuits are all figured out, The Orioles.*And now SNY: SNIGH! That definitely is the funniest to say.I wonder how long until there is a Dodgernet. On MLB Extra Innings, the Royals are on a "Royal Sports Network", but I don't think that's a actual channel (I don't see the Royals being worthy, both in popularity and ability, to have their own channel).*Come to think of it, is MASN a actual channel? I was in Baltimore this summer, and MASN wasn't on Cable (Comcast is still pissed that the Orioles are going to be moving to MASN). So I don't know if MASN is a actual station yet.
