LITTLE CHANGES ON MLB JERSEYS

 Over the years, several baseball teams have made teeny weeny

changes on their lettering or sleeves. A lot of teamstore owners either

don't notice it or give a damn about the slight changes. Here are a few

examples

1994&1995 TEXAS RANGERS ROAD JERSEYS. THEY ADDED A TOUGH OF BLUE

AROUND THE "TEXAS"

MONTREAL EXPOS 1988 ROAD UNIFORMS, WHERE YOU NEED A MAGNIFYING

GLASS TO SPOT THE BLUE THEY PUT AROUND THAT TINY LETTERING THEY

HAD.

ANGELS 1994 HOME JERSEYS. I DID NOT NOTICE THAT THEY PUT A WHITE

BACKDROP AROUND THE LETTERING, UNTIL I SAW A CLOSE UP PICTURE

OF J.T SNOW ON THE COVER OF SPIRTS ILLUSTRATED IN OCTOBER......1995.

I HAD TO BUY IT, WHEN I THOUGHT I ALREADY HAD AN UP TO DATE ANGEL

HOME JERSEY.

HOW ABOUT THE ST.LOUIS CARDINALS JERSEYS FROM 1998 AND 1999? THEY

WENT FROM A RED BEAK TO A YELLOW BEAK AND I DID NTO NOTICE THE CHANGE UNTIL THE END OF THE 1999 SEASON, WHEN I SAW A CLOSE UP OF FERNANDO TATIS LEADING OFF FIRST BASE AT A GAME IN WRIGLEYFIELD.

AND IS IT MY IMAGINATION, OR DID THE OAKLAND A'S RAISED THEIR

UNDERLINING CLOSER TO THEIR LETTERING ON THEIR HOME AND ALTERNATE

JERSEYS?

Didn't the Giants also make a recent change about the gold shadow on the letters of their jerseys?

why yes they did, it was to their road grays....but gold and gray tend to bleed together too much for it to be visible from anywhere but up close.
