I think we have a winner, with Harvard knocking off Stanford -- at Stanford, no less! -- in 1998.

I think this deserves a followup question, unrelated to the first.

This year, one game being played in San Diego tomorrow has a certain uniqueness that has not been witnessed since a game played in Birmingham in 2003. What is the uniqueness, and name the four teams involved (two in each game)?

I was thinking about this earlier today, at least half of the answer.

The UCLA-Belmont matchup pits Bruins vs. Bruins, just like the 2003 Bulldogs-Bulldogs matchup between Butler and Mississippi State.

Yep, that's it -- hard to believe it's not happened sooner, no?

As another one, the following two statements can only be made truthfully about two teams. Name the two teams.

1) Our school has only made it to the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament once.

2) Our school has a winning (over .500) record in NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament games.
