Batfan1400
this is how i see the AFL within the next decade. If i had things my way,the ARENA FOOTBALL LEAGUE would go like this:NATIONAL CONFERENCEEastern Division1).New York Dragons2).Philadelphia Soul3).Dallas Desperados4).Columbus Destroyers5).Boston-the Massacre or something to do with a "Patriot/Nautical" theme.6).Pittsburgh-the Parrots or Maulers(old USFL);color them black/goldish-yellow.7).Washington-the Warriors(Cowboys vs Indians) or War"HOGS"-the 'Skins O-Line.COMMENT-This is MY FAVORITE division- !!!It reminds me of 1.the NFL's NFC east, 2.the NBA's old Atlantic div. minus NJ + 3).the NHL's ol' time Patrick div. minus New Jersey + Long Island teams.SOUTHERN DIVISION1).Austin Wranglers2).Georgia Force3).Miami/So.Fla-can be the Swordfish,Tropics or something to do with S.Beach.4).Nashville Kats5).New Orleans Voodoo6).Orlando Predators7).Tampa Bay StormCOMMENT-not much else I had to do here but it's should be a tight division though.AMERICAN DIVISIONCentral Division1).Chicago Rush2).Grand Rapids Rampage3).Indiana-the ol' Firebirds;hot logo, unis and color combo IMO though.4).Kansas City Brigade5).Milwaukee-the ol' Mustangs; purple team i luv next to NO Voodoo.see INDY.6).Minn'polis/St.Paul-the N.Stars hockey team or a Wintery cold-weather theme.7).St. Louis-the Arches or Clydes(dales);the horses on those Bud Commercials.COMMENT-it's my 2nd fav division bcuzx it reminds me of the NFC north(GR in place of DET,likewise with NIL for GB),the NHL's old Norris division minus DET and TOR,WESTERN DIVISION1).Arizona Rattlers2).Colorado Crush3).Las Vegas Gladiators4).Los Angeles Avengers5).Sacramento-the GoldRush or Miners, something to that effect.6).San Jos SaberCats7).Utah BlazeCOMMENT-see the SOUTHERN division.I hope you liked how I see things in the AFL within the next decade.I have the game at home as well,so i'm a bit partial though. Thanks for your time. The End. Sec19Row53
I hope you're close, but I see it more like this:The end. Not knocking the league (I'm an af2 season ticket holder), but I'm pessimisstic for its future with the loss of a TV contract. It's not because of a loss of revenue per se, but a loss of expansion fees due to the TV contract. It's where I sit.
fonz
I see a lot of teams moving and folding.
sp0rtsguy13
The AFL will defintely have a tv contract this up coming season. Whether it may not be for NBC, CBS, Fox, ABC, or ESPN, it will probably be with OLN or FoxSports. Who knows, they may even go back to the new TNN Spike TV. Stanley Cups 1980,1981,1982,1983World Series Titles 1955,1959,1963,1965,1981,1988 Super Bowl Titles VI,XII,XXVII,XXVIII,XXXSuper Bowl Title III
dfwabel
While I look at some of these, why not have a system of reliagation with some of the larger af2 markets, like OKC, Birmingham, Memphis (if they move to FedEX Forum), for examples. Orlando, New York, and Sacramento are in need of new facilities if you ask the teams, so where would they play?

Orlando, New York, and Sacramento are in need of new facilities if you ask the teams, so where would they play? The Memphis Xplorers are not gonna be moving 'Forum. The Xplorers are owned by the people who own the DeSoto Civic Center. They also own the Memphis RiverKings. Best case scenario would be a re-incarnation of the Memphis Pharohs to play at the 'Forum.
