Buffalo Sabres Winning Streak Ends...

...at 10, losing to the Thrashers 5-4 in a SO. Great hockey game, and Buffalo has some of the best fans in the NHL. They gave them a standing ovation after it was over for a good minute or so. So Buffalo doesn't break the record, and the Thrashers are the team that prevents them from doing so...awesome.

But congrats to Buffalo anyways. Winning 10 straight in any league is hard as hell.

Great game that ends a great streak. I have a feeling these two will meet in the playoffs.

They still tied the record. So they are in the record books. And they got a point so they still have not technically lost. Does anybody know what the record is for Most games w/o losing a game in regulation?

The record for longest winning streak in the NHL is 17 set by the Pens in '93.

Is that what you meant?

No games with ties, ot losses, & wins.

I did know the pens had the record for most consecutive games WON.
