Gothamite
That's the Empire State building in straightaway center which is a couple blocks from MSG.Wow. I am not seeing the ESB at all. BawlmerOreos
A fitting sendoff to the ground where the House Ruth Built once stood. The current stadium is more of a House Necessity Built. Hopefully the next stadium will be the House Jeter (or maybe Cano?) Built. As for the ASG itself, Derek Jeter deserves to start at SS in the 2008 game regardless of his stats that year.Oh, you mean the Cal Ripken rule? You leave tha Iron Man outta this. Gothamite
I don't think so - the ESB is surrounded by much smaller buildings. This looks more like Midtown in the 50s, with many buildings of roughly equivalent height. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. dunford
I'm a Yankees fan, but anointing anyone as a potential all-star for two seasons from now is foolish :censored:ing d**kslammery. It seems like the shot in the picture is a bit of photoshop trickery...it looks like the Time Warner Center, which stands at the southwestern corner of Central Park, is surrounded by buildings somewhere beyond left-center field. No matter. Yankee Stadium will get the All-Star Game in 2008, and CitiField will get the All-Star game sometime in the next decade, which should satisfy most, if not all, of Long Island, Buttafuoco and Fisher included.
