eqtmgr
I dunno if anyone has posted this or not, but I just saw the 2008 ASG logo. It is very nice.Aloha!
Moser316
I doubt that it's the actual logo they're showing. Don't they unveil next year's All-Star Game logo sometime around All-Star Weekend?
meetthemets
Are you sure that's the logo for the game? Looks like something they just put together for the presentation. I would doubt that a full duotone image of Yankee Stadium is part of the logo.
Gothamite
It's a great graphic but would make a lousy All-Star Game logo. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
timparry
Surprise! They're actually selling t-shirts with the logo at MLB.comWe'll see these on National Geographic in 2009, next to the kid wearing the champs shirt of this year's Super Bowl loser
Chazberg
THIS IS NOT THE ACTUAL LOGO. It is just a design to announce the game. Note the phrase COMING 2008.The next ASG logo is always unveiled the week after that year's game. We all know this. charles-noerenberg.com
Gothamite
I rather like the t-shirts, even if they do place Yankee Stadium in Midtown.... The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
Brian E
I rather like the t-shirts, even if they do place Yankee Stadium in Midtown....haha i was wondering if anyone else noticed this? even though yankees fans think that new york revolves around them, it's far from the truth-both geographically and emotionally.i'm assuming we should see very conservative all star bp jerseys for this game, probably with the AL in white and the NL in navy. i just hope majestic doesn't decide it should try to do a pinstripe mesh jersey!on another new york note- there's pictures of the mets in their new bp jerseys doing charity work on the mets website. the departure of the black block shoulders is a big improvement
meetthemets
I will also be interested in watching the 2008 ASG in the Bronx when the entire infield consists of Mets.

I have a Yankees World Championship t-shirt with a picture of the Vet on it inside the YANKEES letters.I can't tell but did they overlay Yankee Stadium where MSG is located on the poster. koizim
A fitting sendoff to the ground where the House Ruth Built once stood. The current stadium is more of a House Necessity Built. Hopefully the next stadium will be the House Jeter (or maybe Cano?) Built. As for the ASG itself, Derek Jeter deserves to start at SS in the 2008 game regardless of his stats that year. Honestly, kind of except I was nominating DJ not because it would be his last season (mostly because it wouldn't) but because he has been the face of the Yankees for the last decade.
