VitaminD
The cap (Olde English) "D" is too thin for the jerseys, and would need some kind of garish outline (white/navy, or orange) to beef it up. The jersey (square) "D" is too thick for the caps. As much as I would love some uniformity, I don't want to see any changes made, since neither can work for both as presently constructed. And they're both blackletter calligraphy "D"s; how is one Olde English and the other not? "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.
McCall
The Old English D looks best on the hats, and the Square D (which, is in fact, an old english D as well) looks best on the jerseys, so I think they should make it like that.Wait, what? They have? For how many years? https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall
BallWonk
Good example of scaling issues. The square D looks good on the jersey and on the cap. The old-Englishe D looks good on the cap, but no on the jersey. I have no problem with the Tigers having variant logos on their jerseys, but if they ever consolidate it has to be toward the square D.
