In 5..4..3..2..1 Posted January 26, 2008 Share Posted January 26, 2008 I think that Iraqis might find the American flag offensive but who gives a rats ass. I served in the Marines in Japan. Married a Japanese woman, have children who are half Japanese. Japan changed their flag to try and shed the bad image they had as a militaristic nation. However to say that WWII vets would take offense to the rising sun flag is wrong.
