MJWalker45
There is a different style scorebar for today's Champions League semi-final. Not sure if it is used for the overseas broadcast but it's definitely new to me.

MJWalker45
This bar is so much cleaner then the ones they used prior. I like ESPNEWS's new scoreline at the bottom as well.

heernumurr
If thats a full screen pic, it looks way too big for me, and too far down the screen. Did it get in the way of the action at all?
MJWalker45
The bar has been raised for today's match. It is in the normal position the previous bar was. I think the other bar worked as long as it wasn't listing out everything. When it was a sspecial event it became pretty clogged up.
hershey
Anybody got a shot of the old one for comparisons sake?
MJWalker45
It's still in use for baseball on ESPN right now
cmm
On a somewhat related note, I think it's time to ditch the Bottom Line. It's 2008; all the scores you want are a click of a mouse away, instead of waiting for the score you are interested in to finally scroll onto the screen. And ESPNEWS is more widely available than ever before, so if a computer isn't handy you can just flip over. It takes up way too much space--especially when looking at this screengrab when coupled with a permanent score bar.
