Updating soccer logos

I can't support a team with a bad logo, and I can't stand a team that doesn't invest into having a good logo, and when I look at Argentinean soccer league -http://billsportsmaps.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/argentina_primera-division2009-10_with-titles_z5.gif - it looks so bad (compared to Brazilian which is much better - http://billsportsmaps.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/brazil_campeonato-serie-a_attendances_november2009_n.gif).

So I started with updating a Newell's Old Boys:

I'll probably be slow with updating others. If you have some, or are willing to work on some, please post here.

Thanks for posting the old logos, can really give some C&C now.

In the first set of 3, all are updates except the CAB. I really like the shield design aspect of it, but that text is killing it for me. Try to find a better way to incorporate it, maybe a banner. I love the monogram on the NOB logo, beautiful, and while the Juniors one has a lot going on, it's still a big update.

The latest one is your first true miss, IMO. The previous logo is just such a great one I think, and yours just isn't better than it. Yours looks a big generic, and all the gray lines are a bit hard to follow.

These are great! I'd love to see what you'd do with some of the larger European and South American clubs out there.

Engine, Engine, Number Nine, on the New York transit line,

If my train goes off the track, pick it up! Pick it up! Pick it up!

Back on the scene, crispy and clean,

You can try, but then why, 'cause you can't intervene.

We be the outcast, down for the settle. Won't play the rock, won't play the pebble.
