But Discrim..

You do understand what I mean by just because it's retro doesn't make it great.

yeah, i know what you're saying...i can name many retro jerseys i'd be glad to keep back in their time periods (i.e. don't wear em again) like the Astros rainbow, Cubs powder blue w/white pinstripes, Indians all-red, Dodgers Brooklyn satin, etc. heck, there are some good ones back there, some of us like em, some don't. you don't like the feather-sleeve jersey, i gotta respect that. even though i'm a Cubs fan, i can appreciate teh tomahawk. both the Boston/Milwaukee and Atlanta versions.

speaking of which, next month the Brewers will wear Milwaukee Brave uniforms for the first game against the Braves (no word on whether the Braves will follow suit)

I always wanted to see a Texas-Minnesota game where both sides wore Washington Senators jerseys.

fat chance of that, but i would like to see em like this:

Texas in the 68-71 Senators uniform:

or possibly the 66-67 alternate:

and the Twins in the 1956-58 "Damn Yankees" set:

i mean, the Braves and Brewers have done this. The only thing that would be more of a must-wear would be the Mariners and Brewers in Seattle Pilots uniforms for a game.

I don't dislike the current Braves unis. I like them a lot. I was just saying that thier throwbacks are cool, too. I dont want the ones they wear now sent packing, I just liek the throwbacks, too.
